    Excellent customer service

    I recently visited the Halfords store in Didcot as my daughter had managed to damage the chain on her bike and it had become twisted. I took the bike to Halfords and was served by a young man named Khalil. He repaired the bike quickly and efficiently and even gave the bike a once over. His customer service was amazing and he was very friendly. He also gave me some advice on purchasing a new bike for my other daughter, so I will definitely be returning for that. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.

    I am disabled (not visibly) and came…

    I am disabled (not visibly) and came into your Shoreham by sea branch to look for some car touch up paint.I wasn’t feeling great and wasn’t even sure what to look for. I asked one of your members of staff (Alex) for some help. He went on to help me find my car colour code,the paint and primer.He was super polite,friendly and relaxed. My paint wasn’t on the shelf and he looked on his pc found it was in stock then went and got for me. After that I found a camping table,he found me 15% off and then another voucher off it too for being a member. I was really happy with that.Then he offered to carry it to my car too. What an asset to your company. People hardly ever make the effort to leave a good review and are more likely to leave a bad one. So this one is very well deserved.

    What a pathetic bike service Halfords…

    What a pathetic bike service Halfords Sunderland offer, booked an half hour time slot, to assess my bike, I just wanted my brake bleeding, I was told the mechanic was on his dinner, so I would have to leave it, I asked would I get the bike back next day, I was told they didn’t know when I would get it back, it depended on when the mechanic got around to doing it. Ended up just walking back out with the bike and got a local bike repairer to do it, who did it same day at a fraction of the cost Halfords quoted.

    Excellent service

    Had a problem with my leisure battery on my campervan, and being a lady of advancing years, I was in a panic. No need to worry, I drove to my nearest Halfords about half a mile away and was driving away again within an hour. Everything fixed and working again for my trip the next day. Thank you to the guys in Hinckley for all your help and advice. Will definitely recommend you and I will definitely comeback.

    Great Experience at Oswestry Store

    I visited the Oswestry store for a wiper blade replacement and fit I had pre-ordered online. The retail assistants were friendly, professional and efficient! I very quickly drove away with my new blade fitted, just in time before the rain came. The blade was good quality and my windscreen clear and smear free after using it. A great customer service experience.

    Amazing bike assistance

    Visited the Byfleet store for a simple bike related problem. Didn't catch the two gents' names on the counters, but not only did they fix my issue lightning fast, they also immediately hooked me up with the tools so I can try fixing it myself in the future. Absolutely top notch service, could not be more pleased.

    Don't have a clue

    Rang customer service to check they had a roof rack that would fit my vehicle before driving an hour to store. I was told they had one. On getting to the store Halfords do not sell a roof rack that will fit my vehicle. Thanks for that Halfords, online next time.

    Paul was amazing

    Paul was amazing. My partner and I had some questions, about buying two new adventure bikes, for our summer hols. Paul answered all our queries in depth. Despite being in the middle of a very busy store, he really listened to us, and was genuinely interested, in our needs. Paul gave us all the time we required. We have now decided on eBikes, and the enhanced plan of care. I could tell that Paul knew exactly what to do, and where to direct us. He was really cool, in handling several customers, and leading his team at the same time. Paul was completely in charge of the situ. I feel that we have everything we need, and we can always go back, because we are in good hands. I would recommend speaking to Paul, if you are going to the Halfords Bolton bike shop.

    Paul at Bolton Halfords bike repair…

    Paul at Bolton Halfords bike repair shop is a gentleman. I went there last week, looking to fix my Boardman. Paul greeted me, assessed my bike on the spot, filled out a form quickly, and ordered all the right parts, with a good quote. He was fast, efficient and knowledgable. He came across as polite, charming, and he clearly has a keen eye for detail. It was lovely to be treated so well. He inspired confidence in me, so I left it with with him, for more than a few days. Paul rang me, to keep me updated on everything. When I collected my bike, he was busy dealing with a lot of hasty customers, and taking care of his staff, but he remembered me. Paul was genuinely very well-mannered, and has a big smile on his face for everyone. We had a few laughs. He clearly enjoys the job. I am super satisfied with Halfords bike services. Five stars.

    Poor customer service

    Contacted customer service about a online purchase I made they did not even get back to me. Halfords took my money but did not confirm my online purchase so no goods , my bank is dealing with it now. Never again will I purchase from Halfords.

    Car scheduled for "free inspection"…

    Car scheduled for "free inspection" after arriving at the agreed time I waited another 1.5 hours after which the employee informed me that I had to wait another 1.5 hours to enter the garage, moreover their Motoring Club is a theft of money, you can't cancel it, you don't use it and you pay for a year! avoid this place

    Visited Bolton Halfords today

    Paul is outstanding. I visited Halfords store, Bolton today; 6th June, looking for an eBike. A tech-savvy guy took the time, to talk me through all the state-of-the-art bikes at length, plus the helmet, top-of-the-range lights and other equipment I’ll need. He was well-informed. He got me a sturdy lock, and care plan, too. He also helped my mum find the right windscreen wiper. He signed us up to the premium motoring club. Paul was really helpful. I’ll be revisiting soon.

    I could could give this review I really…

    I could could give this review I really would, I ordered my bicycle that came today after a week of waiting for delivery. The bicycle came I got home from work all excited to start ridding my bike as I paid for the bicycle to be built,took the cycle out of the huge box it came in, put the peddles on that was great time for me to aligned the wheel and the handle bar and this was where the problem is after straighten the front wheel and the handle bar the handle bar was not tightening back, I stood there for 15/20 minutes turning and trying all direction until I was sooo frustrated I call the customer service teal which said the bike can either be taken into store not a option as they have closed down my local store or get the bike collected and they will re-order the bike ones it’s been collected which mean I am going to 2-3 weeks without a bike which I am now using as my source of journey to home and back. As I got my friends over to help me with the handle bar only to finally read the instructions and there was a part missing after 1 hour of fixing the bike only to find out that Halfords or the manufacturer couldn’t even be bothered to put all the parts in the box and because of this I am now stuck with a box in my hallway with is between 8-9 inches because they couldn’t even be bothered to check that all the parts was in the box. what a completely waste of time. I do need a bike I problem won’t go back to Halfords and just get a refund for the bike and accessories. I am honestly so angry and upset the service is disgusting

    Battery warranty not guaranteed!

    Recently had a full service done by Halfords (National Tyres, Street) & was informed on Health Report that the battery had failed a drop test & 'needs fixing'. They included, on the report, a quote for a replacement battery which I decided not to go-ahead with as I could possibly find a cheaper unit elsewhere. On checking my records when I got home, I discovered that the battery was supplied by Halfords in 2021 with a 5 year guarantee. I visited the Bridgwater shop to sort out a replacement battery but was told that the fault wasn't covered under the warranty! Apparently they only honour the guarantee if it's a manufacturing fault so the drop test was not relevant even though it failed. Conclusion: Always read the small print with the guarantee then take your custom somewhere else.

    Review of Harford (Mansfield): I strongly advise against visiting this shop. Harford in Mansfield has been a complete disappointment. I’ve been there several times, and each time I was turned away with excuses — either "we don’t have time," "the service technician isn’t here," or simply no interest in helping at all. But they’re always quick to take your money when it suits them. It feels like this place only exists to make a profit, not to actually help customers. Their so-called “bike service” is just a label — in reality, there’s no support, no willingness, and absolutely no professionalism. On top of that, the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. There's no respect for the customer, no courtesy, and definitely no interest in solving problems. Honestly, it’s a waste of time, money, and patience. Avoid Harford in Mansfield — there are much better and more honest bike shops out there.

    Incredibly poor communication and service

    Order for home delivery. Website said 2 to 3 days. After 10 days no sign of it. The website shows my order is being prepared? 3 calls into Halfords each with a promise of a call back, and even with case number. No call back. Issue raised with PayPal. Immediate confirmation of funds being refunded to me. Poor service from Halfords. Though staff on the phones were polite, not helpful but polite.

    HELLFORDS

    ordered air oil and fuel filters online for next day collection after 4...after going through checkout and paying..the collection jumped to 4 days.....the email said wait for a text or email before collection....3 days after my collection date still no messages.......I called main customer service...to be told my order was ready.....and my local Halfords...just forgotten to message me because they must have been busy.... GREAT SERVICE GUYS
