Absolutely not, I am sadly writing this This is really hard for me to write this as I had so high hopes, I am currently with Gousto and super happy but I thought surely a dedicated vegan recipe box is even better. SO I decided to try the promotional box. The 1st recipe OMG I had to throw away the other portion, the risotto had so much thyme it was unedible it was like chewing dried herbs. Ok one recipe down, is ok let's do the next one. Orzzo, with tomato and a very strong coconut milk? why coconut milk with italian food? you use oatly, this was so hard to eat too! :( I immediately went and cancel my next box...and they offered me a deal! So I thought lets try a second box just to be sure. The katsu curry... too thick and SO SPICY (and I lived in mexico) it was unedible. The chilli sin carne....followed the instructions and the jackfruit NEVER cooked, unedible too. I worked on a restaurant for years and been on Gousto boxes for 9 months so I know what I am doing. I got 8 recipes in total 3 were unedible, 1 was eww and the rest were meh, maybe one was good. Sorry it pains me to write this because I want to support vegan businesses but, you need to hire better recipe creators, because yes vegans will buy anything that says vegan but they can get tired too. Not to mention my 1st box was a day late.

You have a great selection of dishes on offer every week. On the odd occasion some of the products are not to standard but your customer service is always quick to respond to resolve the issue. I dishes I pick are always a delight to eat. Thank you Grubby.

Great service great food easy to follow recipes

I credit grubby with our conversion to plant, following a chance encounter in King’s Cross station. I thought I’d give it a try and found a whole new level of creativity and choice in meal box - exceeded expectation in terms of choice and variety .

Love this company! The food is great too. The very few issues we've had over the 2/3 years have been dealt with professionally and quickly. Great ethics for a company.

Superb meals, good customer service and the odd freebie thrown in too! The meals are absolutely delicious as well as healthy and there’s a recipe card included with each giving clear instructions.

Grubby are very good - it's my family who are fussy eaters! Otherwise I would use more often - great recipes.

Grubby has helped us eat a wider variety of dishes. Huge servings and everything we need to prepare the meals. Love that it takes about half an hour to prepare with a Spotify playlist to sing along to whilst we prepare the food.

I would definitely recommend Grubby for anyone looking for a plant based alternative to hello fresh. All of the recipes have been delicious and it's a great idea, very convenient. Only reason I'm won't give 5 stars is occasionally they send send a wrong ingredient or one of the ingredients has been out of date when it arrives. And it is a bit expensive. But overall definitely worth it.

I have been using Grubby for months now, and cannot recommend it more. The recipes are always really enjoyable to cook, filled with vegetables, and extremely tasty, and I look forward to receiving my box each week. The portion sizes are also very generous, and I always have a portion leftover for lunch the next day. I cannot recommend Grubby enough!

The recipes are delicious and the portions are super generous. Only a couple I haven’t liked but that’s personal preference and usually when I’ve forgotten to choose my recipes in time to avoid ingredients I’m not fond of. Ingredients are great quality and recipes are very easy to follow. Customer service has also been fantastic

Really delicious quick plant based recipes. The playlists are cheesy but fun! ingredients always of highest quality and a good amount. I would really want to see more diversity in recipes (sometimes a little too carb heavy) and a few times probably because the ingredients are organic they didn't last very long (herbs, avocados etc.) apart from these minor things I really enjoy the flexibility with pausing when needed, quality and deliciousness of the food! Also so many free gifts and introductions to nice food brands, other subscriptions for sustainable products and services
