Really tasty, simple recipes with very healthy ingredients and big portions. I'm single and love my food and it makes three meals for me each recipe.

Food is awesome. Just wish you could inform of intolerances etc and those recipes wouldn’t show. Twice I’ve not been able to eat meals as they should be due to peppers being included in the ndjua. It’s my issue, not yours but it would help me enjoy even more.

We're not vegan but we've really enjoyed the meals we've had so far. We have previously tried two of the other main players in the meal box market and Grubby's ingredients are significantly better than the others we've tried including good branded items for sauces etc. The meals are things we probably never would have created ourselves and we've particularly liked the Mexican and Asian style recipes. As other reviews have mentioned, it's not the cheapest but we think it's good value.

Have been getting Grubby boxes for a couple of months now and absolutely love them. The recipes are so much better than any other meal boxes we've tried in the past, and the ingredients are all really good quality. They are not the cheapest, but for what we get they are excellent value.

Been with grubby a couple of weeks now. The food quality is amazing. The recipes are easy to follow. App and process is easy to use. Contacted customer service with a little query they were quick to respond and really helpful. All round great experience so far. Keep up the great work! :) Thankyou!

Absolutely brilliant boxes. So far I loved every single recipe and I’m trying meals I’ve never had before and vegetables i usually wouldn’t cook with. The quality has always been great. I had two boxes so far and I am way to excited for tomorrows box.

One of the sauces was out of date by a month.

Tried a box from the supermarket prior to signing up for a Thai vegan curry. For £10 it was awful, aubergine end of life and a pathetic Bell pepper, together with a tiny sachet of paste which sad to say was worse than the cheap and nasty blue dragon offerings in the "Asian" aisle. Only quality piece of ingredients was a tin of coconut milk but even that was half the size it needed to be for a nice rich curry. If the price was a third it'd still be too much. Needless to say I won't be signing up. Have tried hellofresh too and would choose them over this.

Excellent recipes and price.

These recipes are amazing! Not only are they quick and easy to make but also bursting with flavours and variety in - good quality - ingredients that I don't usually cook this way (or at all). I was particularly impressed by the Plant-Based Steak, Crispy Potatoes & Chimichurri. If I hadn't known it wasn't real meat, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. The texture and taste were spot-on, without the heavy feeling often associated with real meat. 10/10 would recommend!

Where do I start... Mouldy produce. Massive bags that don't fit in the fridge. Mirrin has spilt all over one of them. Tasteless asian salad - minus the mouldy carrot. Phone number doesn't work. 2am 'reminder' emails that go unnoticed among the hundreds I receive per day so that another box automatically generates and you don't get to pick your recipes. To be then told I had opened an email which I hadn't. Change your CRM system Grubby - it's shocking. All in all a horrendous experience. Not quite sure how you place people and planet above profit as I don't feel valued. But, you get 2 stars for those amazing lemons. Back to Gousto I go. Thanks to Keri on the live chat who was a reasonable human.

The recipes, and choices, were fabulous. I loved the step by step guide that came with each recipe. However, I found the fresh ingredients were often withered and practically at the end of their shelf life by the time the boxes reached me. There was also the occasional missing item - for this reason I had to cancel my membership

Great food, and excellent customer service. They respond so quickly to any issue and resolve it really quickly.

Lovely recipes. Good quality ingredients. Sweet little touches of free gifts. Great for us but unfortunately our children struggled to get on board with the vegan meals.
