Grubby

I like the meals - I do find all the packaging and plastic difficult and it does make me reluctant to continue.

Im loving the meals they are really great and easy to prepare. There are a couple of points which i find a bit frustrating. I have been using Grubby for 3 weeks and I keep getting extra food that I dont need. Part of my reason for choosing a subscription service like this is to reduce food waste but in those 3 weeks you have given me 5 bulbs of garlic! I love garlic as much as the next person but that is majorly excessive especially as my subscription is for one person Nobody needs 3 bulbs of garlic a week! I also got an extra set of rolls which i dont need. Also, you need to work on your packaging because I can understand why you put chilled food in different packages but do i really need 2 chiller packages for individual 80g sheesh packs (these are tiny) when they could easily fit in the same package! For my last delivery you could probably have fit all 3 of my chilled items in one chiller package but i got 3!! Your app and website notes notes our CO2 savings but this is not eco friendly. I would give you 5 for the food because I've loved everything ive tried but 2 for the points I have raised above.

I really love Grubby. My partner and I try to eat plant-based 50% of the time and Grubby has made it really easy for us. The website is easy to navigate and it is easy to check the recipes for allergens (I ha e a gluten intolerance). Delicious meals too!

Great selection and variety of food that feels easy to cook and really healthy. It’s really helped us be time efficient as a family and taken the hassle out of thinking about what to eat and having to go shopping for it. The meals feel really quite indulgent and we’ve genuinely not missed eating meat. Delivery, packaging and presentation have all been great, as has the customer service.

Food from last delivery was mouldy

I absolutely love Grubby meal kits. I’m definitely a new lifetime supporter for this company. I cook a lot and love cooking but I’m also very very busy and don’t have a lot of time to research, plan and then shop for interesting meals. Grubby has been amazing for resolving that for me. Every single meal has been wonderfully tasty, and genuinely some of the best plant based food I’ve ever cooked. I also feel it’s really good value for money. As a small female, only really cooking for myself, I find one box of 5 meals gives me enough food for the week (plus a couple of snacks) so I’m getting my entire weekly food intake for around £55 which is around half of what I was spending shopping in the supermarket. And there’s also no food waste with Grubby, which is a big bonus. I’ll be getting a 5 meal box every week for the foreseeable future and I’m super excited to try more of the recipes over the next few months.

The app works well, menu choices are different each week and communication is great. The food generally gets a 4-5 star rating from me as it's tasty, easy to make and ingredients are always excellent.

Delicious meals! There hasn't been one meal that my partner and I haven't absolutely loved! Reduces food waste. So good for ideas, makes dinner easy and I look forward to making my grubby meal every day!

I adore Grubby!! I've never been let down by any of their recipes, and they always introduce me to new vegan recipes I didn't think of trying. I love cooking, but I hate planning what I'm going to eat so Grubby is perfect for me. Unfortunately, they don't currently ship to Guernsey so I can only enjoy it when I'm in the UK :(

LOVE LOVE LOVE Grubby! I recommend it to everyone. I've been doing it for over a year now, and was vegan already. I really appreciate not having to spend ages planning meals and food shopping, and the recipies are SO GOOD and really easy to follow (much better than other recipie boxes I've tried, like Hello Fresh, All Plants). They keep adding new recipies all the time so you never get bored, and I love that they have them all on their website with the ingredients lists. This is the best recipie box out there - good for the planet, your health and amazingly tasty!!

Good recipes and help me try out new things. Unfortunately after a month, recipes start to be repetitive. So far I still have some new choices that I previously did not choose, but this might not be the case in another month. I’d love for the recipes to come with measurements. I skipped a week and cooked previous recipes and struggled due to the lack of measurements. I will have to start reminding myself to measure while cooking.

Some great recipes, I really enjoyed having the deliveries. I changed a few ingredients like peas instead of green beans ...( Lots of green beans! )..on the whole they were delicious 😋...Loved the Spotify play list while you were cooking what a great idea.

Great recipe and tasty. Let down by DPD chucking the delivery box over a fence nowhere near either of our porches! Would have had 5 stars if not for DPD.

Grubby is delicious! I’ve been trying to go vegan for a while and this meal service not only has had absolutely delicious meals, but has really helped me in giving me ideas on what to cook for a balanced vegan menu! I honestly couldn’t recommend Grubby more, and I’m so happy that they now have the 5 meals per week option!

We have really enjoyed every meal we’ve had from grubby. The quality of the fresh ingredients has been excellent. I do think it’s a little on the pricey side compared to other meal kits so it’s a treat or short term fun thing to do - we couldn’t afford it every week (but I would if I could!) It gives everyone in my household the confidence to cook something new.
