Grubby

I started getting Grubby boxes to make mealtimes easier with a new puppy in the house. Weeks later, the puppy is less of a problem but I'm still getting the boxes because they're so enjoyable. No more scratching our heads wondering what to have. There's a really good choice (even though I'm fussy, and don't eat nuts). It's definitely got us out of a food rut and trying new things (as well as classics). The portions are nearly always perfect, too, and have been good news for our waistlines. Brilliant customer service too.

They don't skimp on the garlic or the herbs!! Absolutely amazing meals and really simple and easy to follow recipes. I never regret ordering another box!

These boxes are absolutely great. I was getting stuck in a rut with my vegan recipes and this adds a new dimension to my cooking. I love how everything is provided for, in the correct amounts. Portions are good too. Everything is incredibly tasty and the recipes are clear and quick and easy to make.

Meals missing from the box and delivery appalling . Grubby recently changed from dpd to yodel. Since this change my orders have been late arriving today hours later meaning we had no food for our tea. We had to make a trip to a supermarket and pick up food due to relying on this. When the box finally arrived, there are 2 meals missing and due to the amount of time the food has been left in the box, the ice has melted and left the food bags sodden. Terrible service if I’m honest. This is the 2nd time we have had this with yodel. We have a Monday delivery , 5 meals which see us through the week. Now not working out financially as still having to purchase another meal now for Monday from the supermarket. Not a 5 minute trip for us and quite frankly after waiting all day for a food delivery to arrive and having to just make the decision to head out , I won’t be ordering from grubby again. I have now closed my account. Now I have to venture out again to the supermarket because we are meals short. Shame these companies will try and cut costs and corners with cheap companies. Pay peanuts….

The recipes were easy to follow and ingredients was very fresh. Portion sizes were good and tasted delicious. 😋

Mainly very good and happy. Did have a menu card missing last week and the ginger was woody for two weeks; but on the whole ingredients were very fresh. Delivery was good. The driver friendly and polite. Not excessive packaging which is great. Meals were tasty but perhaps a little repetitive in choice and the recipes were easy to follow.

I really love these meals and it was so cute to have additional extras like a cooking playlist on the recipe cards! Would definitely recommend this box is brilliant even if you’re not vegan !
