I recently found a car on the Mercedes Benz UK website that was at the dealership in Oxford. I was then approached by their salesman Tom Kernahan regarding my enquiry. After speaking with Tom on many occasions we came to an agreement on said vehicle and proceeded to finalise the deal. On all dealings with Tom Kernahan the customer service was of the highest level and made the process extremely pleasant. Upon arrival at the dealership, Tom yet again went above and beyond to make the experience of the highest level which reassured me I was making the right decision.

When collecting my car after having the screen wash bottle filter cleaned out. The advisor walked to the car and commented. Walk round the car and make sure you are happy with it? I thought this was some what a strange comment considering what my car had gone in for? It transpired that the front splitter driver side was cracked and pulled forward. I really could not be bothered to enter the show room and raise a complaint. I would have been nice if the advisor and just come clean and told me what happened. Rather the asking me to look round the car to make sure I was happy I have managed to push the splitter back and attached it with double sided tape. However it will need replacing in due course at my cost I wonder if I will be getting any feedback after filing this in?
Hi when i enquired about the vecghical the sales excurtive Aman Janda was brilliant 👏 he went through everything with me over the phone and when I visited I was shown everything which was great experience even to the point where I picked my vehicle up I rang them back as I had a few concerns and they are I'm process to getting them sorted which I'm happy with
The car went in for MOT and some work carried out under warranty. Mercedes Inchcape kept us informed at all times. The staff once again very professional and efficient.

Went into Toyota Warrington to choose a new car, we couldn’t fault anything. We were made to feel very welcome and they explained everything thoroughly. We bought a brand new Toyota Yaris Hybrid, which we love. So well done Toyota.
Due to a recall on steering Wheel Airbag I came over on Friday 14th Feb. As usual reception staff were impecable in welcoming me. Was shown area to make a cup of Tea whilst I waited for car. Also had a complimentary wash of car before handing back to me. All in all a great experience in Customer Satisfaction.

I wouldn’t even leave a 1 star! Absolute incompetence from day one of purchasing this vehicle to the present day! Don’t go near!!!!!! Now Group 1 still full of incompetence and left with no option but to take legal action against them! This complaint been ongoing since 2023 with the very basics of complaint handling missing until I have to point it out to them in 2025!

Inchcape Range Rover Chester. Wife’s Range Rover Evoque recalled for a dangerous steering rack failure. Tried to charge over £500 for a new 12 volt battery claiming my almost new aftermarket Bosch battery which conformed to Range Rover Evoque spec couldn’t support the update. After a protracted dispute Range Rover UK stepped in. Upon collecting the car the panoramic roof had been smashed, “nothing to do with us” was the answer, can’t be seen on arrival cameras and wasn’t picked up in the pre service video walk around? General Manager eventually agreed to cover the car excess on our insurance claim as a gesture of goodwill, we are now paying the higher premiums. Add to this the time I took my Range Rover Sport Autobiography in they had it for a week, rang to arrange collection and presented the invoice….only when I looked under the bonnet before driving away did I think it unusual not to see for finger marks/ signs of workmanship. After a brief investigation the service agent apologised and admitted the work hadn’t been done! Make of it what you will, love the brand would never buy from or use Inchcape Chester again. Try Deeside 4 x4 as specialists or Hatfields Liverpool if you need a main dealer.
When I first set up my service plan over the phone with a group1 representative, I was told that I was booked in for a service on the 12th of February at 8:30AM. Although the person on the phone did say to me that for some reason the Mercedes Oxford system wasn't letting him book in the date, he assured me that the date will be booked and that I'd receive a confirmation...alas, 5 days elapsed and I did not receive any confirmation, however I did receive all of the billing documents! I decided to call Mercedes Benz Oxford to confirm my appointment, I was told that the "job wasn't raised" but they can see the "booking card" on the system. There was a power cut apparently just as I was calling and thus the women in service department didn't have access to the system, she promised to text me back a confirmation that it's booked in. I did actually receive the booking confirmation this time round, so that was better. Closer to my service I called Mercedes Benz Oxford again, as I noticed that I had asked the group1 rep to book me in for 8:30AM, so I could drop the car off as early as possible before I started work. The confirmation I received said my time slot was from "10AM" - I wanted to make sure that I could still come in earlier to drop my car and get my hire vehicle. During my phone call, the Man in service department said he couldn't access his computer due to yet another, power cut! This time around, the computer did come back up and he was able to find my vehicle booking, however it was registered under another Mercedes Customer's name..... To which the representative at Mercedes Oxford was apologetic about and told me to simply bring in my Drivers Licence on the day of service to have this rectified. All in all, the service experience on the day was actually fairly smooth with little wait time when dropping off and picking up my vehicle. It was just the initial setup of service plan and confusion around booking which leaves a slight sour taste in one's mouth.
Group 1 Jaguar Norwich solved all issues with my used 2024 Jaguar XF and presented the car back to me in immaculate condition, washed and fully valeted. All work was undertaken as warranty and there was no bill to pay. The staff were wonderful ambassadors for both Jaguar and Group 1
