Plane Food - Poor customer service

Plane Food - Heathrow Terminal 5 Continuing drop off in customer service. Unwelcoming staff, over 15 mins to take order. Good good on this occasion but things have been overlooked on prior trip. Guy who took payment was abrupt, showed no interest to know why I didn’t want to pay service charge despite him being in a suit so assume manager role. Based on regular (every 2 months) visit - this place is no longer value for money or providing high customer service levels although good remains good.

SAVOY Grill, excellent but this time the Beef Wellington wasn't good

Everything was excellent att the Savoy Grill except for the Beef Wellington, it didn't have much taste and it was completely raw. I have fotos that I will try to attach to my commentary. My company felt the same. I did not complain there because I didn't want to take down the ambient of the selebration of my son. He is a vegetarian but just because this was Gordon's signatur dish he asked for the Beef Wallington!!! The main reason for us to go to the Savoy Grill was to selebrate my sons masters degree at LSE and egoistic off me to have an opportunity to taste the world's best dish in the world!! I imagine that the cook was not at his best day, I can not imagine that Gordon would have axepteed this to get to our table. Everything else was superb, the service and the other 3 dishes, I have never tasted a better fish or oyster in my life but unfortunately the Beef Wellington put everything else down. I am not a cook, I am an amateur with love of cooking and I have never done a Beef Wellington but similar dishes. I have recently given a dich this undercooked and I felt ashamed for my achievement and promised my friends that next time it will be better, that was the first time that I served something not to my expectations and it was better than the Beef Wellington I got at the Savoy Grill. I really hope that the raw meat and very little condiments was a mistake and nothing that happens often. I have followed the programs and have cookbooks of Gordon and will go back to the Savoy. I am an amateur cook that loves cooking. At the age of 15 my oldest son told me when we were att a restaurant in Gotland, "daddy don't get sad but this is the first time that have eaten something better than your cooking" I got proud not upset. I composed my first dish att the age of 11 one year after my mom's death, I started cooking att the age of 7. So I know a little about cooking and seasoning and I am only a person, that is why I axept the Beef Wellington as a mistake and give for the overall experience and food quality a topp degree. I hope to be amazed next time. I know that what I experienced was not the dish Gordon has as his signatur dish! The fish shuffle was amazing and I am not a fan of fish except fresh grilled att my table. My Jansson My fish soup with a mix of Safran, lemon and CremFrech on topp and lime sest. My recommendation is to go to Savoy and experience the best of best, every body is treated like princesses and kings 🤴. My sons girlfriend really enjoyed our visit att the Savoy and seeing how my son got happy seeing her smile so much, that's priceless. That is why it was worth it, even though the Beef Wellington wasn't upp to that good this night.

Won't be returning

Liverpool One Restaurant The service was good but for me the menu was terrible. I am vegetarian. No longer a strange hippy concept. But nothing on the menu bar a quinoa super food salad cannelloni or celeriac steak🤢. The latter being my worst nightmare. The first two mundane and not worth the money. Eventually the waitress suggested a pepper side dish. When this arrived it was shrivelled green bitter cold greasy peppers. I ate 2 which were vile and continued to taste them for the rest of the day. You need to do better Mr Ramsay if you want to stay successful in an ever growing meat free population. Think also about your prices too as we all head into a cost of living crisis. I won't be returning and I will advise my veggie/vegan friends not to either.

Hell’s Kitchen Dubai- Great food but let down by appalling service

Wow fantastic well presented food but let down by awful service which is such a shame as completely spoiled what would have been a great experience. Our service started really well but then as the restaurant filled we and 4 other tables were completely ignored to the point three tables next to us were left with their main courses uncleared for over 20 minutes without a waiter in site and eventually had to wave to attract attention. Our attempts to even pay and attract attention we’re equally not what you would expect in a GR restaurant, and a real shame after fantastic food and presented wonderfully. We visited for breakfast this morning and completed shambles, this time service was excellent food was superb but they got our food order wrong 3 times, then left the food we hadn’t ordered on the table until we asked for it to be taken away, cold milk for tea requested, hot milk arrived, 1 espresso ordered 2 arrived, avocado on toast ordered, crab cake and poached egg arrived and so it went on. Such a shame as the kitchen is wonderful, staff are extremely friendly but totally disorganised which is such a let down for what should be a great restaurant. Come on Gordon sort them out!

The Narrow in London

Had dinner at The Narrow in London. The service was so slow and two of our meals were taken off the bill. I was disappointed as we had been there before and recommended it to the people we were with. The cost wasn’t really acceptable for the experience and then 15% service was added!!

Saturday 7th of May -

Went today with my daughter, her fiancé my son and my husband to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. What an awful experience from beginning to end. The service was slow and the food to put it politely was tasteless. My husband and son ordered a wellington. I took one look at it and it was obvious that was going to be dry. The macaroni cheese was dry too. My main course was the butter chicken and it was tasteless. Will never go again even if I was invited for a free meal. No discount in the world could take the bad taste away from our experience.

Slow service and the food is basic

Just had breakfast. On a 6.15am flight and arrived at the restaurant for 5am. It took 10 mins to have our order taken. Having stressed a few times that we had a flight to catch, at 5.35 the food had still not arrived and I asked for our bill for the coffees. They ran around (for the first time) and brought the breakfasts a few minutes later. The food was ok but cafe level - nothing special whatsoever. We rushed the food. Nothing enjoyable in the experience. Over priced for what it is - very basic. Not the staffs’ fault - poor training. There are better places in T5.

Had breakfast at Gordon Ramsey’s at Heathrow T5. Had to queue for 20 mins to get in. Once in I found that 30% of the restaurant was closed off and many empty tables. They have 50% of the staff, apparently. Food was ok…quite a long wait.. Don’t go in unless you have an hour plus to spare before your flight.

Horrible

Horrible, ordered wellington, risoto and french fries, the fries were the best part.i’m no chef, and i make better risoto with the box from trader joes.I feel stupid spending that much money on stinky, literally stinky food. He should spend less time on his shows and more time on his kitchens, the restaurant its pretty expensive so we should receive quality food, like he always claims he does. I hope he read this and make a change because i made an effort coming here specifically from costa rica…bad investment.

Gordon would be disappointed

I paid 36.00 for a pub burger with truffle fries at Caesars AC. I was disgusting like a dried up hockey puck. The burger sauce had no favor and Gordon Ramsey would gag on it if he ever tasted it. The fries were cold and the lettuce was so wilted.

We have just returned from Heddon…

We have just returned from Heddon Street Kitchen where we had the beef Wellington experience. Unfortunately the main meal was not to our liking. However the service was exemplary. I would particularly like to thank Fioneza who really took the time and interest in us to make sure that we left the restaurant feeling cared for and happy. We could clearly tell that this was so important to her and and a true sign of a great restaurant. We will definitely be back and this really is down to her - so massive thank you Fioneza

Heddon Street Kitchen - Amazing Staff

We booked a tablet for 4pm on 20.12.21 for my boyfriend's birthday, I called as we were running late. They held our table for us. We preferred a booth table, asked on the off chance, they without hesitation moved us and the table was ready before we even sat down. We couldn't have asked for better service and the food was devine. A gentleman serving us discreetly (my partner doesn't like a fuss) delivered a desert to our table without our knowledge with 'Happy Birthday' piped in chocolate. I can not recall his name but please do pass our thanks over to him. Only thing I would recommend is to go for their offer as it more expensive by not taking it but this was our error.
