We had Sunday lunch at Gordan’s Street…

We had Sunday lunch at Gordan’s Street Pizza based in Battersea Powerstation and the service level provided was excellent. In particular we were served by one of the waitresses called Beauty, and yes folks that is her name and in 10 years time she will give Alicia Keys a run for her money! It is such a family friendly restaurant and even on a gloomy afternoon, the staff still managed to create a warming, upbeat environment.

Went last night for partners 59…

Went last night to Bread street Edinburgh for partners 59 birthday was soo disappointing food rubbish service poor spent £37 on wine to go with food we didn’t eat, Lobster soup was tomato soup 😡 cottage pie had nothing but potatoes in it nothing else!!! Bland food when asked the server for garlic bread she seemed to take offence to this. Toilets needed a deep clean. 9 people in total no atmosphere. Manager came for apology and said that the ratios wrong and blamed training staff. Wouldn’t recommend at all….

Heathrow T5

I had fish and chips with all the trimmings at Gordon Ramsay’s at Terminal 5, Heathrow (Plane Food). I have only good things to say about the food, the service and the efficiency of the staff (Xavier in particular). Thank you!

Today we went to Ramsay's Burgers in…

Today we went to Ramsay's Burgers in Coquitlam BC. They advertise as Vancouver but that's about 30 minutes away... the restaurant is nice to look at but with wobbly tables and a clean look it's not fine dinning. We ordered burgers and my wife had a chicken burger and enjoyed it. I ordered a blue cheese burger and the topping were good but the obviously fresh frozen burger was dry and very disappointing. The Ceasars salad was refreshingly delicious the dressing almost seemed made on site and was amazing. My daughter had her first ever burger farm yard I think it was called and it was a fancy bacon cheese burger with a fried egg. She didn't like the egg but enjoyed the burger. She is 15 and a picky eater but when Gordon Ramsey opens a restaurant she was ready to eat what ever he was serving. She thought the burger was good but dry. She said the fries were really good too. As a family we always share onion rings and they were on the menu so we did try those as well. They were different but in a good way. I'd suggest asking for extra parm and then they would be stellar. Service was great and when I expressed that the burger was dry I did receive alot of attention and heard alot of reasons why but the long and short was they were dry and the restaurant was working on it. In the here and now if you want a good burger try fat burger. If you're going to Ramsay's go for the chicken and sides. And a milkshake. I will give it a couple months and try again. Hopefully they can hand make some fresh burgers.

Highly disappointed....

We went to the restaurant, Bread Street, Battersea Power on Christmas Eve and had a shocking experience due to service, drinks and the food - the overall experience from start to finish was dreadful. Having already booked the table the prior we turned up slightly ahead of time, 5 minutes or so only to be told that we were to come back in 10-15mins. The restaurant was half empty. We then went back as we really wanted to have a nice meal being the occasion. After being seated we ordered our drinks and then after at least a 10minute wait and despite there being 3 or 4 staff talking by the door our drinks had still NOT arrived. We then saw the drinks sitting on the counter of the bar - we had to instruct 1 of the staff to bring the drinks over. They had sat there that long where there was an inch of water where the ice had melted. We then went on to order our food - mains only, 2 kids meals - hamburger& Chips and a meatballs & pasta and for the adults - Roast Beef sunday dinner and the Burger & Chips. We again waited a considerable amount of time on the food and again only to spot that the adult meals were sat for a lenghty time on the hotplate until the kids meals were ready. When they were eventually brought to the table the burger was overcooked when ordered medium well and the roast beef dinner was stone cold. The kids meals were alright to be fair. Needless to say both of the meals were sent back. The burger was replaced and cooked properly although being hot it was completely bland and tasteless. The Roast beef was not much better- meat was cooked ok but far too thick, vegetables and potatoes were overcooked as they must have been reheated after being sent back. Overall not a very enjoyable experience and was highly disappointed all in all. We did get 2 drinks on the house and they gave us 20% off the bill for the mishaps. Not only that there was a secret service charge of 15% on the bill, albeit optional, still not the best. I would highly recommend to avoid this restaurant if you are looking for a nice time and/if a special occasion. Very very disappointed and so would you be Gordon Ramsay!!!!

All that glitters is not gold

Bread Street Kitchen in E-burgh. -------------------------------- Staff were OK (with a few quirks that I could stand). The kitchen has recurring issues reported here for various locations: 1. Haggis - tastes like plain starch stuffing. 2. Sea trout with braised lentils - very oily (frying oil) 3. Wellington beef - raw inside (not rare but truly raw) after one and a half hours preparation time. Total for 4 people (3 starters, 3 mains and no alcohol) approx. three hundred pounds. I was invited and did survive. Conclusion: hype enterprise without quality assurance in place.

Only good thing was the Service

Bread at Battersea Power Station The service was excellent however the food of very poor standard. My husband had fish chips and mushy peas. The fish was tasteless was neither cod or haddock and there was more batter than fish. I had butter chicken curry with rice the sauce and rice was nice but the chicken was undercooked. A very disappointing experience and waste of £65

Definitely not for all the budgets

Definitely not for all the budgets, its a little bit expensive for a lot of people. But they are now pretty much all around the world and it is a great alternative to find some gourmet food for your pallet. And definitely a good experience ifi you like fine dining or eating tasty food.

Gordon Ramsay Street Burger in Covent…

Gordon Ramsay Street Burger in Covent Garden, London. Hugely underwhelming. Had been given a Virgin Experience Voucher so decided to go to Street Burger. Staff excellent but the cheeseburger was massively disappointing. Texture and taste not really up to scratch. Had Gordon had the burger I had he would have been effing and blinding vociferously. I didn’t complain as the staff were so nice and the meal was free. I would not go back even if the next burger was free. My wife had the same view as mine.

Having visited Restaurant Gordon…

Having visited Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, I was left with an indescribable impression of culinary mastery and sophistication characteristic of this renowned establishment. Located in Chelsea, the restaurant provides a unique opportunity to indulge in exquisite tasting menus that cater to the most refined palates. The refined menu offers a variety of dishes, ranging from traditional delicacies like pressed foie gras to sophisticated desserts such as lemon parfait with sheep's milk yogurt. Each dish captivates not only visually but also gastronomically, showcasing the highest level of culinary artistry. The service at the restaurant is impeccable. The professional staff pays attention to detail and ensures the comfort of the guests. The wine list also deserves special mention, offering an excellent selection to accompany a diverse array of dishes. The price for such a splendid culinary journey may be high, but every pound invested in Gordon Ramsay's restaurant is justified. This establishment is not just a place for dining; it's a genuine gastronomic experience that leaves unforgettable memories.

We went to dinner last night to…

We went to dinner last night to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary at the Gordon Ramsay of Versailles. The evening was spoiled by the position of our table facing an enormous window from which came a very cold draft which bothered us throughout the meal. We reported this during the meal to the waiter who replied that there was nothing he could do because the window is old and there is indeed a draft. The garland on our table moved nonstop in the wind. When we left we told the hostess again who said that was how it was and that there was nothing you could do. Nobody apologized. This is unacceptable for a restaurant of this level, this table must be removed. There is a lack of human warmth from the staff. The dishes are of a good standard, but when you are cold you enjoy it much less. Sincerely Michèle and Daniel Schlim

The “Sunday” payment app is a scam

Nice food at Ramsay T5 restaurant but the “Sunday” payment app is annoyingly clumsy to use, makes you sign up to it to harvest your data and charges a fee for the privilege!!! Gordon - drop this brand damaging payment app!

Bar & Grill Edinburgh

Bar & Grill Edinburgh,Was really looking forward to going. After being seated at 6.30pm & had drinks then waited over an hour for starters, not bad, then it took over an hour half for main meal. My steak was uneatable over cooked, & the chips came after everyone finished. We should of walked out after waiting an hour for starters, but there was 22 of us. I couldn’t believe what was happening really long wait for dessert. We were in the restaurant over 4 hours. We complained & they changed the menus to a slightly cheaper one. A real shame I always watch him saving restaurants telling them not to leave customers waiting between meals. He needs to sort out his own restaurant’s out. I Was upset spoilt a 50th Birthday not like she can celebrate it again 🤬😡

Heddon Street Kitchen

I took my wife and two sons to Heddon Street Kitchen. It was a special treat for my youngest as he loves GR and has had a really tough year with his health. We arrived a little early but was welcomed and quickly seated. The food was grossly overpriced. Two of us ordered Scallops in their shells at £15 each. We were served two tiny scallops each! More of an amuse-bouche than a starter and not great in taste. My youngest ordered the beef wellington for 2. At £120 I was expecting a real gastronomic experience but sadly it was bland at best even with the accompanying jus. Everything lacked seasoning. We also waited almost an hour and a quarter for our main. The waiter kept bringing us bottles of water that we didn’t order to fill the void and had the cheek to charge £6.50 a bottle!! Halfway through the meal a couple were sat at the table next to us with their two dogs!! I love dogs but was a bit surprised this was even allowed. The bill came with a discretionary service charge at 15% which translated into nearly £50. I almost always leave a tip at restaurants but I just couldn’t bring myself to leave one. Sadly a very disappointing experience.

Gordon Ramsay Savoy -Don’t waste your money

We had been seriously mishandled during the booking process - unhelpful , rude staff and given incorrect information resulting in several e mails and telephone calls .( I have copies of all correspondence regarding this). It was a treat for my Niece arriving from Canada but so stressful to get the booking in place . I went early to the Restaurant on the day and they still couldn’t find validation for the gift vouchers I paid for ; can you imagine if I had not been there early or worse had let my guests attend on their own - perhaps to be turned away ? You walk through the grandeur and luxury of The Savoy and then you get to the River Restaurant; ok , but quite plain a bit like a smart cafe but nothing special . Certainly not my idea of a special treat . The food VERY mediocre , I think Gordon Ramsay has a nerve critiquing other restaurants and chefs . Tiny servings of wine . Then , as it was my Nieces Birthday she was presented with a tiny (biscuit) ? size of a 50p piece with a candle on top - I was embarrassed. The staff were very polite but really it was a lot of money for such a disappointing experience and clearly -no one from GR Head office had informed the restaurant that we had been mishandled. Don’t waste your money . I won’t be going to any Gordon Ramsay Restaurant again . The Manager did call me to apologise afterwards which I really appreciated but it was too late our special occasion was over. He appeared to be the only person who cared . Honestly - very very disappointed .

Very dissatisfied and disappointed

Gordon Ramsey street burger in reading! Came here as a last minute after seeing a show, the service was good. The food was average, cold and small portions, overpriced for what we got. The burger I ordered took a long time to come out, was cold and had no flavour very disappointing as I don’t go out for meals very often so when I do I expect to be able to enjoy it, this was not the case. Also had lots of things not available on the menu. Really disappointed.
