Not g byood. Awful customer service. Food nice but overpriced but 3 three dishes were unavailable

We chose this restaurant for the rooftop area in Stratford Westfield, London, good a birthday meal. On arrival we were told we couldn't use the rooftop, despite the rooftop menus being on their website. Awful service. Food was nice (pretty standard fare and not worth the money - trading on GR's brand name?). Three dishes were unavailable and long waits between courses. The WORSE THING was the customer service: different staff continually asking how the food was within minutes of each other. The wait staff presenting the bill to my male husband (so irritating) and when they asked how we found it today and I fed back, they became defensive. I didn't want to discuss it ... Finally, when I requested the service charge be removed, they volunteered to tell me it goes to management anyway and wouldn't affect them. Rude and unprofessional - it's a many thumbs down from me.

Went to Bread Street in Battersea Power…

Went to Bread Street in Battersea Power Station. Ordered fish, chips and mushy peas, the peas were cold and the chips not far behind. Returned it to be reheated, was a bit warmer on its return. The chips were sodden in oil as was the batter. Most of my meal was uneaten, the waitress did not comment when removing the plates. Very disappointing, will not be returning and definitely would not recommend.

For gods sake Gordon

Dear Gordon, as if you read this… I have now eaten at your restaurants a number of times and the two visits to theLondon Bar in NY are still highlights. However, I also went with my wife to your restaurant in Boston and we were disappointed. The low point however is your restaurant in Heathrow. Now I’ve watched you school restaurant owners for rehearing frozen food and using a microwave instead of cooking freshly made food. Well, clearly bad times have come to you as well because the lamb rogan josh in your Heathrow airport restaurant is just that. Why else would it come in its own bowl on a plate with rice and a naan which has only the name in common with the real deal. It was disappointing and henceforth I shall refer to you as the great chef Gusto who lost his way in the movie Rattatouille. Because that was what this was. The lamb had no lamb taste at all - another sign of rehearing frozen or pre cocked food, the waiter forgot my beer - don’t you get a good mark up on beverages? And frankly, you have nothing on the very people you make a living out of dissing. For gods sake man, any decent takeaway could do a better job than this - at half the price I might add. Disappointed is the most polite I can express this experience. If you need more flavour, please refer to your own library of less than approving words. Best reg

We have visited Broad Street at…

We have visited Broad Street at Edinburgh .... 4 persons, we have asked for 2 small beers and 2 plain waters, probably we were not popular anymore ( we had to order wine ?? ) and waited for 10 minutes. Starters we're dressed up lots of oil and they forget the bread. Main dish was a desastre, medium was main doneetc. and vegetables overcooked. So we skipped dessert and requested for coffee and aperative. We had to wait again 20 minutes. For the bill presented we just feel pity for the people who are working there, please find something else .... and for Mr. Gordon ... you show constanly how to imporve restaurants, maybe you should you have a look into your own restaurants !!!!!!

We attended the Grosvenor Sq restaurant on the £100 deal for two. We were met, our coats taken and shown to our table. Attended by our friendly, informative waiter BT who ensured good comms & good service. The meal was fully adequate and the beef was beautifully done to our liking. We enjoyed our time there, looked after and we’re certainly not rushed! Thank you!

Amazing experience at Gordons bread-street

So we went to gordon Ramsay bread-street on 5/4/24 we did an all you can eat pizza buffet with unlimited Prosecco. The service was amazing from johnny and Patricia. The pizza was crispy and the toppings were outstanding. The toppings on the chips and garlic dip was amazing. They gave us a small pot of ice cream each. Today 6/4/24 we went to bread-street restaurant for our anniversary and ordered the beef wellington what can i say the food was again absolutely out of this world the pastry was crispy and the beef melted in my mouth. The wine was lovely. Megan the waitress was attentive and ioshin im not sure i spelt it right was so lovely. They gave us a little plate with ice cream and happy anniversary written in chocolate.

Gordon Ramsay scam at Heathrow

We had an annoying experience at Gordon Ramsay Plane Food yesterday. The restaurant charged a cover charge of £1.50 per person, which is not stated anywhere ('company policy') and a service charge of 15%. One of my traveling companions ordered a small glass of wine and a small salad and was served a large glass and a large salad. It became quite a discussion to adjust the bill. In our presence, another traveler complained about this kind of practice. It appears to be a deliberate way for the staff to scam people, speculating that customers are in a hurry to catch their plane. The food was good by the way.

Nothing special

We visited Park Walk restaurant and wished we had eaten at the Greek restaurant next door. We had received a phone call a day before our booking to say the 3course rare steak experience was not available. It was too late to book another restaurant however she did ask what the occasion was and when I told her. I did at least expect a complimentary glass of Prosecco!!! for being so obliging. What we had was bland food, nothing spectacular. Restaurant lacked atmosphere.

Worse food ever

Worse food ever. Ordered their overpriced "all day breakfast" at their Hong Kong airport. That was the worse food I have ever received and pay for. The lettuce was rotten the tomatoes were mushy. If you have heard the "Who can screw up bacon?" Before, I can tell Mr. Ramsey that his restaurant did. I'll be shame to have my name on top of the restaurant. Total Garbage.

We had vouchers from Buyagift for a 3 course menu. It was a special occasion, what we didn't told the staff of the Breadstreet Kitchen in Southwark, London. But Megan, the dedicated waitress, made it anyway special as her full attention was always pointed to our table exactly at the right time. I had the Lobster Bisque which was exquisit, with housemade bread, Chicken a la Parmigiana, cooked on the point and melted on my tongue as did the tropical fruit and ice cream bowl. My partners Black Forrest Cheesecake was to die for. I was not the first time here and I will always return for an outstanding food experience. The manager itself came to our table and asked if everything was ok, what gave our experience a personal touch. Thank you Gordon Ramsey Southwark team.

Expensive, yes. But worth every penny.

I’ve wrote enough poor reviews when something isn’t right, this isn’t going to be one of those. Petrus has a reputation to live up to, and it certainly does that. Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus, situated in the heart of London, is a beacon of culinary excellence, setting the standard for fine dining in the city. From the moment one steps into the elegantly appointed dining room, it becomes evident that this experience will be nothing short of extraordinary. The ambiance at Pétrus is a seamless blend of sophistication and warmth. The restaurant’s interior, with its striking wine cellar at the core, creates a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere. This setting is perfect for those special occasions when only the best will do, or even for a discerning diner seeking an exceptional meal in a relaxed environment. What truly sets Pétrus apart, however, is its impeccable service. The staff exemplify professionalism and hospitality, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. From the moment you are welcomed at the door, the team at Pétrus ensures every detail is attended to, making diners feel both valued and pampered. Their knowledge of the menu and the wine list is impressive, providing tailored recommendations that enhance the dining experience significantly. The culinary offerings at Pétrus are nothing short of spectacular, with each dish reflecting Gordon Ramsay’s signature innovation and finesse. The menu is a celebration of the best of British and French cuisines, with every ingredient thoughtfully sourced and every plate meticulously presented. The flavours are complex yet harmonious, showcasing a level of craftsmanship that can only be achieved by a kitchen operating at the peak of its powers. There was no way the staff could have known the tough week we had both had, there was a potential of a Michelin star restaurant to be stuffy and pretentious, this is far from that. The whole experience had the ability to completely change our mood any energise us for the weeks ahead. In conclusion, Pétrus by Gordon Ramsay is not just a restaurant; it is an institution that epitomises the pinnacle of gastronomic excellence. The combination of its welcoming and professional staff, sublime cuisine, and elegant ambiance makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in London’s finest dining experience. Whether for a special occasion or a culinary adventure, Pétrus promises an unforgettable journey through taste, service, and sophistication. Genuinely thank you for giving my wife and I the perfect evening.

Ordered the sea bass and was served baby sea bass!

Ordered the sea bass and instead of serving a large filet of bass we were served a baby portion of sea bass. Our asparagus was the size of my thumb and under roasted. The desert was good but I fell out of my chair when they handed me s $240.00 tab (which included 1 glass of wine) I cook better than this at home, including sea bass (large mature filets) So disappointed! Will not go back unless I cook my own meal on site! LOL

Never again

Absolutely awful experience, considering Gordon goes to other restaurants and winges about the quality of food, preparation and decor etc. . The restrooms were filth, a whole 7 people in the restaurant... as I write this his just made headlines regarding Whoopi Goldberg and the awful way he treated her.... boycott boycott boycott. He is a rude, obnoxious, unmannerly sod
