just about the installation: I want to express my gratitude for the excellent work carried out by Ifti Hussain and Alan Roskell. They were both incredibly professional, patient, and kind throughout the process. They answered all of my questions as they arose, kept the property well-covered inside to minimize any potential mess, provided regular updates on their progress, and ensured that everything was clean and tidy at the end of each day. They also took the time to walk me through everything once the installation was complete. A huge thank you to them—I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication.

My experience today was lovely, very helpful fitter Jamie Poulton, here at a very reasonable time this morning, very tidy and also demonstrated the windows and how they work. Nothing was too much trouble for him, all in all, a very professional young man. My house looks stunning, after my windows have been fitted. Only took one day to complete, very satisfactory.

Two very polite young men Lewis and Jamal arrived on time and fitted new windows and patio doors - I had to go out so left them tea and coffee and biscuits but when I returned 3 hours later they had not stopped working so I made them a drink. Left everything very clean and tidy would recommend this company every time.

I recently had all of my windows and doors on my home replaced. The customer service from the very start (quotation, samples, arranging installation, checking in and fitting) have been impeccable. The job took 2 days and was completed by Kevin Kelsey and John Donovan. Both gentleman were lovely, courteous and professional throughout the installation, as well as being respectful of the property. They worked extremely hard and it was clear to see they take pride in their work. The quality of the finished product is incredible and I would absolutely recommend this companies services. It’s made my property look significantly better and I love it, thank you !

My job: Fitting 2 new windows to my kitchen. Brilliant service from beginning to end. I was kept informed either by phone or email, all staff being professional, polite and friendly. Initially, I had various queries and questions but all were answered by email promptly, putting my mind at rest. First Home were very accommodating, fitting in with my work load for when the work could be carried out. The installer (Ben Durston) arrived on time, introduced himself and began the job. He worked swiftly, going over and above anything you would expect. The job was finished within the time quoted and to a high standard, my home was left clean and tidy with no mess whatsoever. One small negative point, I feel the sales pitch at the start could have been shorter. On saying that, he was extremely thorough, I was shown an example small window enabling me to see how they were made quality wise and the mechanism and had all my questions answered regarding pricing etc. My new windows look super, I am very pleased. I have no hesitation in recommending First Home Improvements and I will definitely be using them again later in the year.

Phyllis from Huntingdon came to visit this afternoon. As soon as she walked in a breath of fresh air. She was very friendly and amicable. She was thorough and really professional. She explained everything about the company and the quality if the product. We both found her product to be First Class. After hearing this, we had an idea the price is fairly high. Many options were given to us of which I found them useful and took everything on board.

The service quality of the product fitters were amazing

Great service from the moment I phoned up for help. I had a call to say when the new part would be in and then I got call to tell me the part was in and to arrange for it to be fitted, I was also given the choice of morning or afternoon and also Jade (Service Engineer) called on the day to say he was 30 minutes away. When he arrived he was very polite and well mannered and got on with the job and was all.sprted and finished installing the new part in 30 minutes and also said any problems please just let us know and they would come and get it sorted no problem. Overall a great service and happy with the result.

We had a minor problem with a patio door We got informed the company and an engineer was with us in 2 working days. The engineer in question Jade Downs was very friendly professional and sorted problem very quickly, the windows doors are of a high quality and there after warranty service has been excellent

THE MEN TURNED UP IN GOOD TIME AND SET ABOUT THEIR WORK STRAIGHT AWAY. THEY COMPLETED THE TASK IN UNDER 3 HOURS, AND DID A SUPERB JOB. LEAVING THE PLACE NEAT AND TIDY.

I was referred to First Home Improvements by Help to Buy, but my experience was very disappointing. Two guys came over and spent more than 1.5 hours giving a strong sales pitch when all I wanted was a simple quote for a door. Don't get me wrong, the door they showed me was of good quality, but being quoted £5,000 for a single set of UPVC double doors was outrageous, especially when I know similar doors can be found elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Despite repeatedly asking for the price upfront, they refused to give me a quote until the very end and even then, the representative hesitated. They made excuses about the marketing team not being able to guarantee the offer, trying to pressure me into thinking it was a "limited-time deal." There were no clear documents, no emails, and the sales rep was even dishonest about his name. The whole thing felt like a manipulation tactic. What was even more concerning was how they focused on my elderly, disabled mum, trying to convince her, clearly without her understanding the full picture. It felt like they were just trying to get her to sign up without my input, purely to close the sale. It was frustrating and felt predatory, to say the least. They also tried to lower the price by using us as a marketing tool. It's a tactic that could easily prey on the elderly and vulnerable, making them feel like they're getting a better deal when, in fact, they're being taken advantage of. Even the positive reviews seem to come from people who get discounts in exchange for leaving feedback. I made it clear from the start that we were just after quotes, but we ended up sitting through a long, pushy sales pitch complete with window displays, videos, company history, and endless "calls to the boss." The agent even mentioned that he gets paid whether we sign up or not, which only added to the feeling that our time was being wasted. If you're in the market for very expensive windows and don’t mind the sales tactics, then maybe it's worth your time. But if you're just after a quote or want straightforward, honest service, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. They seemed more focused on advertising their company than actually listening to our needs. No need for a reply from the company, nothing to discuss further. Just start off with quotes if people ask for them. You won’t find it with negative reviews like this, and I find it hard to believe people will still buy the product after they get frustrated with wasting their time. Surely, that's a failure on your side, or maybe not considering how many positive reviews you have (which not to mention, are most from low people giving feedback)

All the team throughout the service have been very informative and well-mannered from the sales team to the installers. We got all our windows replaced and a door and they have been fit to a great standard. It was completed promptly and no mess was left behind.

Always do what they say they are going to do. Good workmanship and good service.
