Had a video call arranged with them that I cancelled an appointment for. I received two texts and two emails reminding ME of the appointment, then THEY never turned up for the appointment. How can you trust someone with the sale of your house when they can't show up for an appointment they arranged. They text saying they can re-arrange for Monday and I have given my availability but like the other reviews in the same situation, I don't think ill get another response.
Our house had been on the market for 9 months with local agents before we decided to try a different approach with Express Estate Agents. It was our best ever experience of an estate agent. They kept in contact with us at every step of the way with us never having to chase them up. From first contact with Chantelle, then James L keeping us informed of buyers reactions and ultimately closing the sale, then Carmine following through once we had a sale, The team were really on it. Massively impressed. Would recommend.
Was in touch with Lucy with regards to property for sale and she has been excellent in follow up and arranging the necessary bits. Like mortgage advisor, property viewing, conveyancing solicitors etc.
Charlie Stafford has been a massive help! I’m a first time buyer proceeding on my own and while the offer process was a bit nerve racking for me Charlie made me feel comfortable throughout it. He’s been very proactive from booking in my viewing to putting my offer forward. He explained exactly what I needed in order to proceed with the sale and now I’m left with my mind at ease. Fantastic service! I’m a very happy customer.

Unfortunately I can't write a good review. It was difficult to contact my agent by phone. She didn't follow up on questions I asked. Questions between me and the buyer were not answered I eventually had to contact the buyer directly. When our agent went on holiday when we were supposed to exchange contracts all parties had no communication, none of my messages were answered and nobody else was left to deal with our case in her absence. Really, not good service.

When we first responded to the company advert, we were given to understand that they bought houses, this was not the case.However, we put our house on the market with them. At no time did they mention viewings are done only by the owner. In the time we were with them, we had several viewings. When the agreement expired, I rang to request the property was removed from the website. I was assured it would be within 24 hours. The day after, we had a viewing request, despite the fact I told them we had since sold it privately. There is clearly no communication at all.

Poor communication throughout. I constantly had to chase for viewing feedback - which I rarely received - I regularly sent second (24/10) and third (27/10) request email and didn’t even receive acknowledgments to my emails. These weren’t the only occasions I didn’t receive responses from two Express personnel.

Initially very keen and promised they could sell my house within 30 days, two months later and despite dropping the house price considerably on their advice not a single viewing. I advised them I was not happy and gave them the months notice I was advised was in the contract. I have now received several phone calls telling me if I put the house up for sale with any one else in the next 16 weeks they are entitled to commission despite finding zero buyers. I tried initially to be amicable but after the third call telling me about their unfair contract I decided it was best to warn other potential customers of their sharp practice . I am quite disgusted and more than annoyed at both the lack of service or any viewings and the only concern they seem to have to is get monies they are not entitled to as they have not provided the service they promoted . As for the cash off it was 30% below the market value of the house when it finally came . My advice is use another estate agent
