I open an account with chase bank my friends and family highly recommended chase so I open a new checking account I was glad I did it I highly recommend chase bank and the customer service with chase I give an A+. Chase is One of the best banks in usa
Not great at all
Our checking and savings accounts are with Chase and they have been managed well. However, our cousin who passed away also banked with Chase and we are listed as survivors and are to inherit some of his estate. Chase has refused to release the funds even when given a COURT ORDER from Probate. The attorney for our cousin's account and the probate lawyers are asking Chase's legal department to tell them what the reason for the holdup is, but Chase wants to hold on to the money and REFUSES to tell them anything. The legal department refuses to speak to them. This behavior is unconscionable - and Chase prolongs the grieving and difficulties of the remaining family with this obstinate, uncooperative behavior. It is a tiny estate, yet Chase will not work with the attorneys who are in the process of pursing a contempt of court judgment against Chase.
The App failed on Monday preventing login and access to current and credit cards and savings. Communications have been poor with several texts asking for 6 digit code (never had one) and on choosing to reset password taken through photo Id checks (drivers licence & selfie). Told review would be 15 minutes but nothing for 18 hours. Never had similar issues with any other banking app. Will withdraw all funds and delete App as soon as I am able. Totally unacceptable not to be able to access own money. We need much better communications, Chase and please remove your stupid TV ad!
Until today was singing its praises but today's nonsence - not accepting passwords and generally messing about and "the engineers are trying to sort it out" make me sure that I must always retain my current account with a proper bank!!!!
Very poor customer service as they use off-shore agents with heavily accented English that is very hard to understand. Applying for a new credit card is way harder than it should be. An agent called me a 5:10 A.M. and left voice mail that could not be understood as she talked so fast in broken English. Awful, stupid and frustrating.
Their banking app is really cool. I havent had issues with it
Best customer service I have ever experienced from a bank! You can even talk to them directly on Chat, though your app, as it is secure, no password needed etc and you can message them in your own time, they just come back to you as soon as they can, usually within a few hours! No calling, holding, 1000 passwords etc.. Best bank every.
What a disappointment the Chase App is after all the hype. You need an Android 8.1+ which a lot of us don't have and can't afford to upgrade to. And the feedback about functionality, opening an account etc isn’t pretty whether you look at the MSE forums or the Chase App itself - and this Trustpilot site has 14 x 5 star reviews all from "Pete" which all seem like marketing speak.
Anyone can write a CrowdTrust review. People who write reviews have ownership to edit or delete them at any time, and they'll be displayed as long as an account is active.
