Whilst I thought the website was easy to use the site to search for cover, I’m an insurance underwriter. However my wife was a little confused as to which cover would suit. Aside from this, coverage appears to be all encompassing and at a reasonable price also.

A simple process to renew my travel insurance, but only four stars because was not clear on the renewal website if the current 'special offer' (mentioned in an email) of 15 months for the price of 12 months was still valid. It was not until after paying for the insurance that it stated it covered the 15 month period. A simple reference to this 'special offer' on the site, prior to paying, would have been helpful.
No nonsense purchase
Excellent service. Everything was clearly and patiently explained. Even after I’d been given the price and was deciding which policy to take the lady I was speaking to checked and came up with another option which was just what I wanted. Will be back when I need another policy and will be recommending the company.

I've had annual couples travel insurance from Direct Travel for 10+ years, cannot recommend highly enough. My long term medical condition is covered as is my husband & I riding our motorbikes and road cycles abroad- not as standard as you would imagine! Renewed this year and got 3 months extra free👍🏻

Been a customer for many years and really disappointed on the Covid-19 cover on offer. I appreciate this is a similar issue with many travel insurance just now, in that if my holiday is cancelled due to Covid i will not be covered e.g. If I had to self isolate due to being in contact with a positive case, if living in Scotland our government says that we are not allowed to travel yet my English flight would go ahead if they permitted it. Only cover i can see you offer is if I test positive before my holiday or if I take up with covid when abroad. Will be more than happy to upgrade my rating if I have misunderstood the terms and conditions for covid cover.
