No issues with Direct Travel Insurance but the company they use CSAL to pay out policy's are an absolute joke. Three months and no further foward, I would recommend anyone to buy a policy elsewhere so they don't need to deal with CSAL.
Bought a policy that I thought would cover all reasonable situations that I would be in when travelling for 6 months. Apparently you can never leave your car parked and leave it out of your view just in case it gets broken in to, as that is the only way in which you'd be covered by this insurance! Maybe I should have read the policy wording from start to finish but it's not like I would have lived every day for 6 months exactly by the policy wording and I was not expecting to be robbed!

Couldn't get through to anyone to put in my claim and online forms had me going around in circles Useless Hotel staff broke my foot ending my holiday and can't even get through to direct travel insurance ! (Yes I was put through and then waited an hour on the phone and still nobody answered and not for the first time.) Can’t speak to anyone, shameful ! You have my details call me please as you don’t answer when I call you. Company takes payment then says oh it’s not up to us it’s our underwriters. Tell me how to speak to your underwriters without going online to fill in forms that then send you back to the original phone number that never gets answered. Automated robots my holiday was ruined August 22 it’s now March 23 I’ve lost count of the times I’ve tried to put my claim in. Shameful Shameful company. Never again !

On an online search process this was one of the options available which suited my purpose and which I was happy to take up. I received a prompt response and subsequently the policy documents. Unless a claim is required I cannot really add anything else.
