Utilities companies have made the pricing of gas and electricity so complicated that trying to compare them is bordering on anti-competitive. I recently wanted to review my bills, but when I went to open the pdfs, they were corrupted. I rang CovAU and the operator was very helpful. He provided me with new historical copies of my invoices very promptly. It was a reminder that good people make a huge difference to your lived experience, even when the companies they work for might make you feel otherwise. The reference for my call was SF02537409. I’m stating it here so the operator is recognised for the great service he provided.

The worst experience I've ever had with an Electricity supplier. I had to find another retailer after 1 month with Covau. I negotiated supply and electricity rates and when I received my bill, the rates charged had markedly increased. When asked why, I was told that the rates had increased in that period. I was never told that at all and was guaranteed those rates negotiated. One thing I hate are deceitful people and I quicky found another retailer which had better rates than the ones I had with Covau and quickly changed over. Another thing is that you're dealing with an overseas call centre and it was very hard to communicate with them. Never again. Be aware before you sign up with this company!!!
