My New Tea

I had Clipper English Breakfast in a cafe and thought it lovely so bought some. I prefer it to my usual tea and find it does not give me heartburn as some teas do. Makes a lovely brew !

Fancy a cup of hot brown water anyone?

The mighty one? LOL. It's completely tasteless, like drinking water. Second cup I left it to brew for 6 minutes just in case, still tasteless. When it first brewed the colour was strong, so I though, hhhm maybe this could be good, then I tried it :-( The brand I was with for 30 years (biggest tea brand in the UK) suddenly decided to ruin their tea through greedflation, this Clipper tea is my fourth attempt to find a replacement, but this is as bad and as tasteless as the greedflation brand. It's so rubbish I actually have binned it, it's pointless to drink it, I may as well just sip hot water. Have these people never tasted a proper cup of tea! Ugh, the search goes on.

Clipper decaff - tasteless

Clipper decaff - I'm so disappointed in this product, it wasn't cheap and it doesn't taste of anything. I've tried leaving the teabag in for ages and it still is the same. Decaff doesn't have to be tasteless, sorry for the bad review but felt I had to say.

Arnaque

Seems like the Early Grey Clipper has…

Seems like the Early Grey Clipper has lost a lot of the Bergamot taste. My wife was like "You've given me the wrong tea" but she just made herself one straight from the box and can't taste any bergamot. Disappointing.

Appearances only matter for this company

It is all about appearances on the outside: the box, the colours, the politically correct statements on the package, the organic ´feel´ of the paper teabags, etc. etc. There is only one tiny item missing: FLAVOUR and QUALITY of the black tea which is put inside. Is there no one in that company who ever tasted this brew for him/herself? And compared it with real black teas out there on the market? Conclusion: totally overpriced and hysterically hyped brand, selling a below mediocre product.

Customer services are a joke

Customer services are a joke. Having been a customer for a long time , the taste changed considerabley with two boxes.....which we believe , turned out to be de-cafe... but they insisted the tea bags we sent back were " consistent with the retained sample" ,the morons still can't understand how stupid that statement is! All that means is the entire batch including the retained sample were wrong ! The vouchers didn'r cover the cost of sending the boxes back.. Lost a regular customer....morons

Clipper used a bulk shipment that was different?

The everyday organic Clipper tea taste has radically changed, at first thought perhaps it was just the box I had bought, couldn't drink anymore and got another one, but sadly to say it tastes just the same. Afraid after years of drinking, I've got to look elsewhere. Maybe in time to come will try again, as perhaps Clipper used a bulk shipment that was different, the next might be better.

Clipper decaffeinated tea bags

Decided to try these tea bags as I need to cut out caffeine I read how they treat the tea to get rid of the caffeine this company has a big thumbs up from me they use one of the safest ways the CO2 method which means they don't use methylene chloride which is harmful to health it's used in paint stripping so avoid any tea treated that way I can't recommend this tea enough the tea tastes good the colour is excellent and not to strong well done clipper tea.

Clipper Earl Grey NOT Earl Grey!!

We've been enjoying Clipper Earl Grey teabags for a long time, that is until our recent purchase of 6 boxes via Amazon. The smell of bergamot has gone and the taste is like ordinary tea. I opened a second new box to see if it was a one of, but it was the same. I contacted Clipper customer services and they sent an apology plus a couple of vouchers (that doesn't cover the cost of 6 boxes!) I thought I was just unlucky with a bad batch but now seeing these reviews, Clipper teas have gone downhill in my estimation. Purchased Tetley Earl Grey teabags.

Wrong tea?

Seems like I have the wrong tea in my box, or they've changed the ingredients completely. I've been buying Earl Grey Clipper tea bags for years as they are the best, but this one box, tastes like they've put English Breakfast tea in the wrong box! Very annoyed as it isn't exactly cheap.

Clipper quality poor since they stopped using foil packaging

I've been buying Clipper Earl Grey for many years but ever since they got rid of the foil packaging the quality and taste have gone downhill. I've returned the last 2 boxes as they were not drinkable. There was hardly any bergamot taste and there was a distinctly bitter almost rosehip taste. Looking at other reviews it seems the drive to be "green" and reduce costs have impacted the quality. Now looking for an alternative brand.

Always previously enjoyed Clipper tea

Always previously enjoyed Clipper tea. But It certainly looks like a smaller quantity in each bag which would also account for the weaker, anaemic, tasteless tea I don't like. No more!

Clipper Decaf Organic Non-Tea Bags

Clipper Decaf Organic Tea Bags appear to have no actual tea in them; they are weak-tasting, weak-looking and generally a waste of money and kettle-boiling power. Awful. Please don’t buy them if you enjoy actual tea.

I'm so dissapointed in Clipper's Decafe…

I'm so dissapointed in Clipper's Decafe organic tea. It sounds great; organic, bio degradable, plastic free etc but the tea itself is tasteless dishwater. There's no aroma, no disernable taste. For a preimum priced product it's a utter waste of money. I won't buy it again

Excellent..

Délicieuse tisane découverte récemment notamment celle aux agrumes et celle au citron gingembre, l'essayer c'est l'adopter. Les commentaires des Britanniques très négatifs me surprennent beaucoup.
