We never received the correct Monza pergola that we ordered and paid for. We wanted it in brown, but received a grey version instead. Lisa in the Shrewsbury store was great in trying to rectify the issue, but the brown pergola we wanted never materialised.
Excellent customer service. I needed a tent that was out of stock for online orders. Charlies had the best price available by far. However, a branch had one, so I contacted them. They arranged to send it back to their main depot and set up the order for me. It was delivered very quickly. Very personable staff, who were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Charlies based on my experience.
Bought a Bramblecrest Amsterdam 8 seater aluminium corner dining garden furniture set with adjustable Table from Charlies. A really good quality set at a reasonable price. Charlies did all they said they would which is great! Bought it online via their website, they called me within a couple of days to confirm my order and delivery details. It was delivered when they said it would be by a two man team. The boxes are very big and very heavy so although it was a struggle, they were very polite and left them where we wanted, which was helpful. The furniture needed a fair degree of assembly, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Based on this experience I’d be happy to recommend Charlies and will definitely be a returning customer at some point. Thank you Charlies and well done!

I ordered a lounge set for the garden. When the items were delivered they were damaged so I refused to accept them. However, when I rang and spoke to a staff member at Charlies, they were extremely helpful and apologetic. Unfortunately they could not send me a replacement, as the item was out of stock and they would not be getting any more. My money was refunded promptly and with no quibbling. Stuff happens but it is the way issues are handled that is important. Their customer service was excellent from start to finish and I would definitely buy from Charlies again in the future.

Carefully packaged and quick service. Very pleased with the items at such a good price and quality.
We were told we would receive the items by the following weekend. We didn't receive the item as promised. The delivery was then scheduled, by Arrow XL for the following midweek slot. This delivery slot also failed to be honoured. At this point we cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Over the course of any given year, we spend a lot of money at the Charlies Shrewsbury and Welshpool stores but in future we will avoid big ticket items from them, that is big ticket items where we have to rely on the delivery systems Charlies use. This is all a very great shame and very disappointing.

Sadly when delivered this dish was broken. You could hear the broken bits inside. Even the postman said to return it. So I did but as soon as received by Charlies a refund was arranged. Although returned I cannot fault Charlies for their prompt action in issuing a refund. Thankfully, I ordered from another company and dish arrived in one piece.Its just right.
