In the end it was the level of detail and possible consequences of the issues found. It cost me £1275 for the survey but saved me at least 10 times in fixing the issues. From the outset James was polite, explained what he would do and gave me a timescale. In reality it was much shorter than indicated. Great value for money.

Comprehensive and informative, it provided a good basis for positive discussions with the owners last week. Content and recommendations agreed. Copied to our solicitor for information. The sewage treatment plant is an anaerobic digester, not a septic tank; and requested comment on ground water flooding was not included, but discussed later by phone. Suggested important inclusion is age of boiler in a 20 year old house. This was 6 year.
