Avoid them at all costs! I faced extraordinary challenges with withdrawal, thankfully "𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒎" intervened and resolved the issue

I recently did a swap, but to my horror, it got seized. I was stuck with barely any updates on my case, but then I reached out to STEALTH HASH. Their team sprang into action and got the company to respond to my emails and issue a refund. Their dedication to resolving my issue was top-notch. I’m so grateful for their help! I am very disappointed at the lack of response initially, so I’ll issue a 1-star rating.

Support is fast

Changelly have been holding funds for 14 months now, yes you heard that right, 14 MONTHS! The worst part, is they belong to our investors so now as a business we need to find these funds. We completed KYC and passed, then the goal posts moved. They keep making requests for us to post on social media about private business matters despite them being posted over a year ago in our private group. This is not a small amount of money over 14 ETH, they were very responsive but constantly moving the goal posts and now they arent even responding AT ALL because they have ran out of excuses to refuse the funds. Apparently they are holding them for safety = they never have any intention of returning them as nobody has requested they withhold funds but themselves. They are complete scammers and we are now taking legal action with many victims, contacting all their partners and filing a law suit.

I am here to share my story with Changelly, a very painful experience. As an OTC trader I used changelly in the past to perform swaps and I’ve done over 50 swaps successfully before this and always used same wallet for the swap. Two weeks ago I did a swap of USDT (erc20) - BTC which my USDT was successfully sent from my end but BTC was not delivered by Changelly and I quickly see my transaction was on HOLD. I performed the required KYC and submitted SOF which is source of funds. Still I started getting same generic responses or totally ignored by Changelly. These were customers funds that was held and I faced severe blow to my business as this continued for two weeks until I submitted a report to StealthHash.io, after I reported Changelly contacted me and issued my a refund. The experience was traumatic and for this reason I am issuing DWC when performing swaps with Changelly. 1 star for me even lower!!

I am extremely disappointed with the way my case has been handled. It has now been over 8 months since I first raised an issue regarding my 2.18 BTC, and I continue to receive inconsistent and vague explanations about so-called “time-consuming investigations.” Let me make this perfectly clear: My funds are legitimate and fully verified by multiple independent online tools and agencies. I possess all necessary documentation proving the source and legality of my 2.18 BTC, with no connection to any illicit activity. The excessive delay and complete lack of transparency raise serious concerns about the fairness of your practices. Withholding my funds without clear, legal justification is unacceptable and constitutes an unfair business practice, causing me significant financial harm and distress. I strongly urge Changelly to immediately return my 2.18 BTC, escalate this matter internally, and provide a clear and specific timeline for resolution. This experience has left me deeply frustrated, and I hope others remain cautious when dealing with this service.

Yesterday i started a transaction. They put it on hold for compliance review. I do KYC. Not Enough. They start asking question, i answer them, not enough. Their compliance team knows nothing about crypto and assings me wallets (believes are mine) that are clearly not mine (eg. exchange wallets or dex routers). They are holding my funds hostage even if i am from a low risk jurisdiction, my money is 100% legal and is not tainted at all onchain (i have access to onchain monitoring tools like chainanalysis) and i am trying to collaborate with them. Maybe you can take the gamble with a few hundred bucks but do not use them at all for anything more than that. It is a nightmare.

Seem to be scamming, withholding my money for months, no real answers nothing, just a regular transaction thats not too high... Stay away. If I ever get an answer its "Your funds are secure, we know waiting is tough". Obviously selective scamming or working with your money... Updating this if anything changes, but I doubt it...

Even after completing their kyc they did not release my coins , i am completely speechless with their approach , Exodus should have disclosed the name of the coin changing partner, Horrible experience LOST 17k + with changelly.

Over 180 days and the funds are still on hold. Not getting proper response and they still say your transaction is under review. Have submitted all the required documents and the KYC. For no reason i see funds on hold. Transaction ID : nswieny7i820jtae

I exchanged funds from LTC to USDT. The funds were transferred to my friend, who transferred LTC to me, but Changelly stopped the transaction and requested KYC, which I successfully passed. Then they started requesting documents about the origin of the funds, but it seemed impossible to prove what happened during a face-to-face meeting in real life, not on the internet. Now Changelly has not responded for a long time and is holding the funds. I want to say that the funds were from another exchange, SimleSwap, owned by my friend. I am asking the exchange to either approve the exchange or return the funds, as the origin of the funds seems clear, I passed KYC, and I find it unacceptable to wait more than 7 hours to receive my funds. Changelly, I demand that you do not hold funds in order to maintain your own liquidity by withholding customer funds. AML/KYC policies may exist, but they should not be used for illegal purposes. Transaction ID: he0dpjpeba10f1ff I sent 1.9 ETH to Changelly in exchange for ~23.62 TAO with my Tangem. Instead, my transaction has been stuck. I need to do KYC. I am willig to do KYC, but i dont have an account with this tranaction in it. What to do? Changelly portrays itself as a legitimate exchange, but in reality it holds client funds hostage while not telling you what to do. To me, this is nothing less than scamming under the disguise of “compliance.” If you are truly a legitimate exchange, resolve my case immediately and send the TAO to my wallet. Until then, this is a well-deserved 1-star review.

Run from exodus and changelly both are partners in stealing users money 50k $ worth of ETH is being on hold since over a week They informed me about a refund process since days with nothing received. With very slow non resposive support.

Changelly (Scamgelly) must think customers’ money is their personal savings account. My funds have been stuck even after completing successful KYC since 12 March 2025 and every reply is the same copy-paste lullaby. Cancel the swap(zv9jb3cxcwnlj68u) —I need my funds back, they’re mine, not your pocket money. If this is “compliance,” then theft just got rebranded. Avoid this circus at all costs.
