The first part of our purchase was fine. Our car was reviewed for a partX and although it was lower than market value, we accepted the offer. We went for a test drive and put down a deposit on the new car. Stefan, the salesman, was perfectly reasonable, offered the extras but didn’t push when we declined. This was on the Saturday afternoon. We booked to collect the car at 10am the following day. This is where it all went wrong! We arrived at 10am only to be told the car wasn’t ready but would be done in 10 minutes. It then turned out that the car didn’t have locking wheel nuts on it and they were fitting them. We explained that we were due to visit my dad in Suffolk (2 1/2 hours away) and the receptionist was apologetic (clearly not his fault). After waiting 1hr1/2, I asked to see the manager who mansplained locking wheel nuts to me and didn’t apologise. 2 hours after arriving, we finally got the car. The service is awful. I fully understand that it is a car supermarket and not to expect a personal service but I cannot understand why they did not check the car beforehand and get it ready for us. We missed our lunch with my dad in the end. Never again! *UPDATE* The car broke down within 30 hours of collection!

Don't buy from Cargiant. I bought my car from there but it turned out that there was an issue with the battery so I wanted to return the car. Instead, Cargiant said they'll change the battery and I accepted that. To cut costs, Cargiant put a non-genuine battery (i.e. not by the car manufacturer) and didn't tell me. Now, over 2 years later, when the starter motor needed to be replaced, I took it to a garage who replaced it but then the car now doesn't start because the starter motor doesn't recognise the non-genuine battery installed by Cargiant. Thus, I need to pay a lot of money to replace the Cargiant's non-genuine battery. I complained to Cargiant but they didn't care because they said it has been 2 years and they don't need to use genuine parts.
10/10 from me. Straight forward, simple, smooth.
Very good process for purchasing a new car. Sabin looked after us very well, we got a good price for part exchange. Sabin helped us find a reasonable priced car and even did a google search to reassure us on the price of a missing parcel shelf and took time to make sure I could connect to car player. I bought a Mercedes A250e 21 plate on 25th June. Today is 4th October. 3 months later the car won't start. I called car giant and they said that they would not be able to cover the costs for repair as I've done excessive mileage which is 6k mileage over these 3 months. I asked him what would've been an acceptable amount he said 2k mileage. Then when I repeated to him later in the phone conversation that he said if I had done 2k mileage they would have helped me, he said that i was putting words in his mouth. If you want a car that will be dead after 3 months of purchase, then please buy from car giant. I explained the agent on the phone that the car is a 21plate, so basically new, there's no way it should not be starting. 6k is nothing as the cars now on 48k mileage. If the car was on 100k plus, then I'd understand if there were issues. This is the first and last time I buy through car giant! When I first bought the car, there were issues with the brakes. When I took the car to Kwik fit, the customer agent rolled her eyes and told me they get so many car giant cars, which scared me then. Now I understand what she meant! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! ONCE YOUVE BOUGHT THE CAR THEY DONT CARE!!! UPDATE - They requested information so they can help me further. I've provided the requested information and haven't heard anything back since. You guys just keep getting worse!!

Hi I bought a car on the 23/09/24 and I went to the MOT and failed so I called the customer service they said send us the proof where is saying Tyers are not good I sent them the MOt failure and after 3 days they send me an email saying I have to send the picture of the tyres that I can’t get them I think it’s an excuse just for not taking it further and am not happy at all
