Restaurant 437 Louisville ky

Restaurant 437 Louisville ky Shawn was the manager his restaurant was understaffed and he did not help at sll. So the poor server was covered up the meal took 25 minutes and it was cold. He got into with a customer and screamed at him and basically called him a liar and also ordered the customer to get out. Shawn was very unprofessional and lazy Also I called guest services held 3 different times for a total of 44 minutes and left 3 messages and still have nOT heard from them Bob Evans is a JOKE

Good food bad service

The food is still good, however, the customer service is awful. A waitress seated us, and I understand they're busy with waiting tables, but regardless, whoever is seating people is supposed to be cheerful & welcoming. This waitress gave us a blank stare asking how many and said to follow her, barely even hearing her. She put our menus on the table & walked away. We then waited for someone to approach us for 10 minutes. That waitress was… okay. The waitress who took my money at the register was like the person who seated us: dull & seemed annoyed. I get that the public can be very difficult to deal with but when you work in customer service it's your job to provide excellent service to the customers you're serving & if you do it makes customers want to come back.

UPDATE 4/14/2023 - Bob Evans finally responded, I gave them my order number, etc. They apologized and refunded our money in full. They also forwarded my email to the Director of Operations in charge of that store for my area. I'm satisfied at the outcome, upped my one star to three, and hope they get that delivery problem resolved. **** **** **** Hamilton, Ohio: Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023 I ordered three turkey dinners, around 1pm. I got the confirmation, order number, and time the of delivery was to be at 4:30. We didn't have food by 6:00 so I called the restaurant. The guy who answered the phone was nice, tried to help. He looked up the order and said quote: "I see it right here, it's in the system but they never made it." So I asked him if it could be cancelled? He said "Yes, let me put my manager on the phone." (- I want to add that at no time did I go full Karen, cuss, etc. I realized it was a holiday, and stuff happens. Just want to make that clear. -) So the manager gets on the phone, I tell her the problem: ordered at 1, it's over an hour late, guy says it's in system but never made. She says that it's delivery by Door Dash, which took me off guard because I ordered from the website and it doesn't mention Door Dash at all when you check delivery. We figured the store has their own I guess. So manager says it's not their problem it's Door Dash. I reminded her that her employee said that the order is in the system, but never made. She says quickly "Oh I see it, that order was picked up by Door Dash already".. Really? Ma'am? So then she tells me that it's not their prob, I'd have to contact Door Dash. Door Dash support is very good, they called the restaurant and were told the FOOD IS AT THE STORE. I let DD agent know what I was told. And he decided I'm getting the run-around, so he put in a request for a refund for us. We got an email this morning from Door Dash, that said they were unsuccessful in getting anyone from Bob Evans to return their requests. At this point, we've lost that money -- and had no Easter dinner either. It just stung a little to be ignored by a company worth at least $1.07 billion, that puts out country goodness and sunshine on their menus and commercials. They've lost one customer, that's for sure. * P.S. I want to add that they've not addressed my email, or Door Dash. Unprofessional, not acceptable. * Updated: My date of experience keeps changing when I submit this review lol .. it was 04/09, Easter Sunday.

Good food !!! Good Service !!

All locations are very good ! The food is great and the service is excellent. Their sirloin steak is great and their baby carrots are to die for! Well Done ! Good Job !!!

Never again

Never again. Went into the restaurant and got seated. Right away it started from the very first hello with our waitress. She did not even say hi or how are you doing? She just totally ignored us when we said hi. Then when my meal came it came without hashbrowns, or the sausage links. When I asked about the hash browns she got very snotty. So I said that the cook should know what comes with the meal. Now my meal is cold . I was upset and didn’t finish my meal. I was never treated so rudely by any waitress. I will never again go to that Bob Evans, and I will avoid Bob Evans restaurants whenever possible, never again.

$8 for a breakfast biscuit sandwich smaller and bland tasting compared to $1.25 jimmy dean frozen sandwich.

Bad Service at Bob Evans

Me and my wife went to Bob Evans in Stafford va got there at 5 pm I ordered a steak burger and my wife bacon cheese burger. I also ordered a special: chili and fries At 535 pm we got our burgers my steak burger was burnt and the appetizer did not come we had to tell our server that we didn't get the app. After we finished we went to the register to pay and the cashier didn't ask if the meal was good. We told him the burger was burnt and appetizer didn't show until after our meal. He laughed. Then the so called manager came, I started to tell her about it, and she said sir, I'm not going to be yelled at. I told her that her crew was laughing and carrying on..her next statement was would you like me to take it off your bill. I had paid the full amount of 35.00 and left. I will not be eating at Bob Evans in Stafford ever again, and suggest other's take notice this is a bad place to eat. Note: There was hardly anyone in the place...plenty of wait staff we could say standing around talking.

Good food and service don’t see the…

Good food and service but don’t see the need to up charge for added gravy! Ordered biscuit and gravy special asked for gravy to be put on home fries also ,, $2 for the extra gravy when the meal itself comes with gravy?? Could see if meal was eggs and meat and then asked for gravy ,, would expect the additional charge?

Jan 26 in Venice Florida we were seated…

Jan 26 in Venice Florida we were seated in Bob Evans restaurant and after 35 minutes of waiting for someone to come ask us what we would like to drink we got up and left and as we left there was 3 others couples that got up and left for the same reason. The manager actually talked to one couple who told him the problem and he did nothing to help the problems

We visited your Warsaw INDIANA location…

We visited your Warsaw INDIANA location Saturday night 2-25-2023. We had an excellent experience. The restaurant is really nice. Food and service was awesome. We had a young lady who waited on us. She was well mannered and took care of us. We had the chicken biscuit meal and the turkey dressing meal which was awesome!! Our desserts which were the berry pie and peanut butter pie awesome!! bob evans is no longer good.

ever since bob evans was sold it has gone down hill, the sausage pattys are flavorless, the potatos are maybe 2 tablespoons and its tough to get condiments from the servers. I have got to find elsewere to eat.

How difficult can it be to make pancakes?

Auora Indiana location: Ordered pancakes, they were done on the outside but uncooked dough on the inside. I suspect that the grill was too hot. Server brought me another order that was not much better than the first. Wound up going to McDonald's. Their frozen/microwaved pancakes were at least edible.

my family and I just had the worst…

my family and I just had the worst experience possible at this Bob Evans located in Greenwood Indiana,159 marlin Dr, the service was horrible and that is a (under statement) believe me. the waitress offered terrible service, could not get a straw, some lemon, or even a crayon for the child. Ask her at least 3 times before she finally got it for us. The appetizer was chili cheese fries, "disgusting". none of our 4 party could even eat the food.it was greasy and not cooked correctly (down right disgusting) I mean even the pancakes were burnt. Now I can see if one or two items was not satisfactory, but not one thing taste good. This was a waste of time and money. And that waitress appeared to be more into ease dropping on the other employees, and being flirty with a worker, and gossip then she did her job. we tried really hard to get things we needed from her, and it was just never going to happen. I would not recommend this place, I would never eat there ever again.

Service was horrible.

Service was horrible.. we sat down and it took them 30 minutes to get our drink order and then people were walking in and seated and getting their orders way before us It took us 45 minutes to even get our order placed and then other people were getting their food they had walked in after us there were three tables that walked out because they didn't serve them in a mannerly time.. The people across from our table even told the manager that they came in way after us.. that they were served and were done with their dinner before we even got our drinks.. people were not being served so they were walking out One couple even ate and then walked out without paying.. The manager said that he had to call a grill cook in from another store because his grill cook had walked out This is very unprofessional He should have been cooking and waiting tables himself.. they had one waitor and this boy was doing all he could do to keep the tables serviced probably 20 tables to one waitor there was no other waitresses or waitors. The manager was too busy laughing and talking in the back with the other employees when he should have been doing his job by waiting on customers.. I did leave the waitor that waited our table a $20 tip and our bill was only $16... This was in your bluefield Virginia store 24605.. The manager was very rude when I asked to speak to him He even laughed at me because I told him it was unprofessional that he should have been cooking and waiting tables if he had to until the grill cook from the Princeton store arrived.. He laughed and told us to have a nice night.. He tried to say that other tables got their orders first because their order wasn't as difficult as ours to prepare and the table beside us got the very exact same thing we got and they got their food 30 minutes before us when we had been there first .. those people even told the manager they had came in at least 15 minutes after us..He said he would give us a discount He gave us a whole $2 discount I am very very disappointed in the store and word of mouth is a lot I used to be a manager and this manager was very very unprofessional.. there was at least four walkouts that did not even get served.. tables were not bussed they were dirty.. The manager that was working this night was Mr.Blackburn.. I feel that he was very unprofessional and that we should have got more than a $2 discount off our order.. I will not be going back to this restaurant ever and I'm sure as soon as I spread word of mouth around you're going to lose a lot of business

Former employee here

Former employee here. If you value the American Dream and not having food poisoning then you should eat at any other restaurant. Bob Evans does not make anything fresh. The kitchens are always disgusting and smell like hot garbage. None of the food is "farm fresh" it's all microwave crap from gfs its either frozen or left out gathering bacteria. For example the choclate cake they have hyped is a microwaved gfs cake. The kitchen is disgusting with cords melting onto food surfaces grease caked everywhere and it treats its employees like slaves that it can buy more of rather than valued "family". This company died with Bob and the present leadership is working everyone to death while cutting all benefits and labor cost at the corporate and store level. It's basically to the point where the only reason they show profits is because of how poorly they pay and how much they overwork everyone who is dumb enough to keep working there.

Grossness at bob evens

Do not stop at bob evens in Jeffersonville Ohio. All the dishes come out wrong and take up to 2 hrs to get to your table. Grand son got gastritis with diarrhea and vomiting. No onions or mushrooms with stake. Scrambled instead of over easy eggs. Stinky lettuce, pancakes taste like face powder.

We often go to the Bob Evans on Sawmill…

We often go to the Bob Evans on Sawmill and I-270. There are three women, Jennifer, Linda and Kim, that always are at work. They do everything and do it right. Linda was even filling in as a cook on a few occasions. These are three wonderful women that need to get bonuses. I am sure that there are days when coming to work is the last thing they want to do but they are always gracious and friendly. Kudos to all three.

stopped at your restaurant in Jackson…

stopped at your restaurant in Jackson ohio seated right away. We sat there for quite some time waitress walked around us no hello or drink so we left hostess said she was sorry manager never said a word Very poor management and waitress. We came about 30 minutes down to Rio Grande Oh. Service is great here.

Portions have been reduced again

Portions have been reduced again, while prices are up. And the chuckroast was half fat! If inflation is that bad that the side salad is less than a cup, buy smaller Styrofoam containers for psychological crutch!
