Bob Evans

In spite of them being short on help we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. The waitress we had was friendly even though she didn’t have no help. Our food was brought in a timely matter and was hot and delicious. Ou waitress kept coming to check on us as well.

Just left bob evans,pancakes could have…

Just left bob evans,pancakes could have been cooked longer,home fries were white looking and cold,under cooked,not done,eggs not the way I asked. Not a very good experience. Probably won't go back.

Too Disappointing!

Too Disappointing, and we even didn't get our food! Was there fir 45 minutes and waited. When we sat down it took a waitress 10 minutes to get to is and we put whole order in, everyone else and those who came in after us was getting their food. When I was finally able to get waitresses'attention ( as she had not come by our table) she said she put order in. Then one of the kitchen people came out and said oh we just got slammed, and it depends on what you ordered and no one apologized for the wait or anything, just left us sitting there again. So they still don't know about customer service, and that doesn't explain why we didn't get our food,- a turkey dinner and an omelet. I mean come on did you have to go back to the farm for the turkey and the chickens???? So we left, another strike for them. Shame on you Bob Evans !

It was one of the worst service I and my husband has ever had we waited 45 minutes for a food to show up amd it didn't show up I and my husband will never be back again the witness was rude and would not let me talk to her

So disappointed

So, I ordered online from this location for the first time on thanksgiving early afternoon. The online ordering (curbside pickup) went very smoothly, which is the 1 star for service. However when I called to check in, I was told I should come inside to pickup since they were too busy. (-1 star). As I have a bad knee, this was a major inconvenience. I did go ahead and go inside to get my order. When I got inside and checked in, the lady (manager?) who I spoke to said she would go check. She never came back to let me know anything. So I stood there for almost 10 minutes waiting. (-1 star) Finally someone else brought a bag to the counter and called my name. I thanked them and went on my way with my order. When I got home (moving into a new place on thanksgiving gives little food options) I found that the 2 meals I got for my wife and I were both missing the ham that I paid extra for. (-1 star) I immediately called in and asked to speak to a manager. I was told they were busy and asked how they could help. I told them I was missing the ham in my meals. They yelled to their manager that I was missing items. Manager (I assume of course) asked if I was still outside. Employee yelled back that I was at home. More yelled conversation back and forth before I was offered credit and that the manager would call me in a few minutes. I told them go ahead but I probably will not return to their location. Manager never called me back. It is 1:45 am next day. You only get 1 chance to make a good first impression. This location failed in that. I will not return to this location and have already sent their corporate office an email. As for the food, turkey was ok, a little dry. Corn and green beans were good. Mashed potatoes were ok. Rolls were very good. Best part was the pumpkin pie. Our drinks were acceptable. The ham… oh, yeah, missing… as well as straws for drinks and utensils and napkins to eat with. That is all, carry on…

Too little value for money

I ordered the Thanksgiving meal for six guests at $100. The food was beautifully packed but too small for six guests,if each guest eats two plates. The ham tast d average and consisted of just four slices. There is way too much stuffing and not enough turkey. Each guest only had two small slices. Will be cooking myself again, next year. 🥴

Over all, BE is going downward into irrelavance. There is nothing special about BE anymore. Too much money for less than.

Ordered Farmhouse Feast for…

Ordered Farmhouse Feast for Thanksgiving for $159.00 and it was really very bad. Should have went to local Dollar Store and bought Frozen TV Dinners and warmed them up . Good Luck if you order you won't be happy once you get it.

We normally love these & they are so…

We normally love these & they are so good however this time when we opened our pack it was full on red/pink on the potatoes, package was clean, film was clean & refrigerator was also clean bc we thought something dripped into it at first but it's completely sealed & the box would have had red on it. I've never seen anything like this its actually wild. Obviously we aren't eating it but wanted to share our experience. I have pictures of it but I don't see where to add them.

Service

Service. From being seated to waited on, very poorly done. The young man who seated us looked like he was pulled away from cleaning the bathrooms. No pleasantries, just complaining about how busy it was going to get. The waitress seemed bothered that the two of us wanted to look at the breakfast menu. She came back with a cup of coffee filled to the brim and a small container of creamer, and a pot of warm tea. We watched two other waitresses take care of at least 5 other tables in a very efficient manner, those customers who were seated about the same time as us, and others a bit later, had their food well before we received our orders. At least 15 minutes later. The same tables had finished and left before we even got our bill. I must add, the first cup of coffee was the only cup I got. When I was presented with my tab, the waitress then attempted to refill my cup which had been empty for at least 20 minutes. Much to her surprise, the pot didn't have but a half cup in it, and it wasn't even hot. Needless to say, what normally would take about45 minutes as a Bob Evans customer to have a good sit-down breakfast approached an hour and a half. This visit had to be my worst experience in what is one of my favorite places to eat. Store #186 in Amherst Ohio. If you go there, stay clear of the grumpy, short, 50 something lady. She is clearly not happy with her position. I've been to the stores in Avon, Oh, Elyria, Oh, and several other locations in Hampton Roads Virginia. Without ever having a thing negative to say. These employees sheer lack of decent service should be checked.

The oatmeal

The servers at the Lorain Rd store are great and the decor is very nice. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal on 11/9/24. I had to send it back. It looked like a bowl of white paste, no taste whatsoever. The consistency was like paste. What was it?? I had to send it back, not eatable. This item should be removed from the menu.

Very disappointing

The cooks struggle with breakfast. They said the grill, won't make hash browns brown.unless they cook for a long time. Then they said the new home fries won't brown up, in a deep fryer ? They used to be my favorite place to eat. 5 to 7 days a week. I eat at a lot of different places. 4" x1/4" circle of home fries is the smallest portion served anywhere. Potatoes are cheap. When you're the most expensive breakfast place to eat in the state of Michigan, you shouldn't have the smallest portions. Yet they do. If you can't be competitive on the prices for breakfast you should at least be competitive on portions.

Went to Salem restaurant about 3 for…

Went to Salem restaurant about 3 for lunch .I had a steak tip omelette & was so hard !!!!? Was paper thin & tips were fatty & over cooked .Terrible !!!!! Biscuits were old from breakfast & the waitress even said sorry they were made this morning, when we told her they were hard .waited long to get seated .was ready to leave but then a guy came from out back .very unfriendly !!!! Terrible terrible food !!!!!! Says food to satisfy your family .hell no !

Luke Warm

I ordered steaks tips my wife ordered turkey dinner. Sat down at 7 dinners were served 7:25. The mashed potatoes the dressing the broccoli the turkey the steak tips All Luke Warm.

Food flavor was good but was very cold

Food flavor was good but it all was so cold it lost all of its appeal. The plates seemed to have come directly from a refrigerator which added to the problem. The soup came out with the dinner and at best was Luke warm, the biscuits were cold enough they they were rock hard. The hot tea water was not warm enough for the tea bag to work, but, that I returned and it came back ok. The cold food could have been contributed by the restraint dining room temperature being well below any reasonable comfort level, Dave green

I love Bob Evans and I go there a lot. I personally see nothing wrong with the food. From what I can see the price is reasonable, and its very clean.

Ordered the "steak tips" for breakfast--not advisable.

Ordered the "steak tips" for breakfast. Perhaps five pieces of steak were hiding in much too salty caramelized onions and mushroom slices -- not at all worth the price. They don't poach eggs. Toast comes already buttered; no way to adjust amounts. Water comes in threaded-lip containers. They don't discount for AARP. My partner likes their sausage gravy, which is the only reason I gave it the second star. Sorry, but I'm going back to Denny's -- where steak can be had that's neither breaded nor stewed, and can be ordered rare, with an AARP discount.
