I had a sample pack.

I received a trial pack in a triyit box. Never seen preciously. My cats enjoyed though. They smell nice and smaller biscuits helped my more senior cat manage them. The packaging it good and I have purchased since. Slightly higher price than the cheaper brands but worth paying the additional pennies.

I'm a new customer to Blink

I'm a new customer to Blink, signing up to a 4 weekly subscription. A few days before my box was due to be dispatched I received an email stating there was a flavour shortage in my box and I had 2 days to amend it, otherwise it would be chosen at random and sent out as normal. My first box was due for postage on the 3rd June, I had the money taken from my account but by the 9th June no tracking or contact to say the box was delayed. I attempted to contact Blink through their website, but heard nothing back. I then emailed on the 11th to be told I should have amended the box to prevent delay. The following is quoted from their email with the flavour shortage information - ' To ensure your changes are processed in time, we recommend updating your recipes at least 2 days before your box ships. If no alternative is selected, we'll automatically substitute the recipes.' The box was posted out after contacting the company, but when I opened it, there was someone else's details on the card inside. Really, this is not acceptable, firstly the delay, and receiving someone else's card in my delivery. I've cancelled my subscription now, and will move to another subscription which I'm hoping will be better with communication and a potential GDPR breach.

My cats like the food and I like it…

My cats like the food and I like it because of the ingredients. I will continue to use it however the website and customer service drive me crazy sometimes. I’ve been ordering for about 2 years, but sometimes what is sent is not what I ordered, customer service tried to blame me, other times the website is very annoying and sets the delivery date to a random date like 1970, whenever I am desperate to order more because I’m running low, lots of things happen on the site that delay my order so I have to get food from a shop. Sometimes it’ll say my payment didn’t go through but only on the site, I won’t get an email about it so may be unaware until I go to check on my order. Like this week, I’ve been trying to order for 4 days but it said my payment didn’t go through so my account was on hold, then I deleted my subscription and made a new one, delivery was automatic set to 1/1/1970 haha, then I go on today and it’s for August when I need it now. Anyway, definitely a few website glitches and I’ve had to contact customer service a few times but the food itself is good.

A disappointing first experience

EDIT: Blink have since gotten in touch to apologise for delays and discuss our order, which is some resolution to us. This was our first order from Blink after receiving strong recommendations but we are immensely disappointed. Despite being told that our shipment day was 09/06, nothing has been dispatched and like others, our account has been charged. We've tried to get in touch with Blink multiple times with no response. We have since cancelled our subscription and will not be ordering from them again!

Money taken but no product

Order and payment taken, indicated the product was shipped, no tracking and no delivery. No response to emails yet. I think the company was recently bought by someone else and I worry that this might be what's causing issues. To be honest, if I had this experience and read these reviews on here, I'd be worried I was dealing with a scam company. It's a shame, the product and experience used to be great. Update (3 days after their response): Still no follow-up. They've still got my money. And I've still not been shipped what they charged for. I think it's really synical and sneaky to just say "technical difficulties". When your taking money and ignoring customers, you owe a better explanation that technical difficulties. Updated (16/06): The email was sent and found in my spam. Your emails haven't previously been blocked by my filter. It was only fair I updated this to include that it was sent by you.

My 19 year old cat loved these! She can be very fussy but she enjoyed them. Only problem is she enjoyed them too much and ate them too quickly

Last 2 boxes incorrect and no response

Update - Blink got in touch and told me i couldnt have received the items i did, and also they said they told me about out of stock items. I have had to supply images to show that they did send wrong items and also forward the emails that prove they didn't notify out of stock items. They then admitted they were at fault but it still took 3 emails before they said they would issue a refund or credit. Have been using Blink for many years and it has always been great. Our cat loved the food and it was a fab company to order from. The last 2 boxes have been incorrect and they have included items we do not order as our cat doesn't like them. Blink are now actively ignoring emails - i have sent 3 now regarding incorrect orders and we had 1 holding email after 4 days saying they are taking longer than 24hrs and apologies. No response to any other emails. Unfortunately after over 3 years as a loyal customer ordering every 4 weeks we will be cancelling our subscription as I am not paying every month to be sent products we do not select and end up having to pay again to buy new ones to replace them. Blink don't care enough to respond after 2 weeks and its such a shame as they used to be such a fabulous personable company.

I would hold on before ordering if I was you and check here to see if anything changes. Payment was taken for my last order, but there was no tracking info, and no communication. They haven’t answered my email or messages on Instagram and Facebook. It looks like they’re even hiding comments from people mentioning the same problems. Recent boxes have had missing flavours, and the selection keeps getting smaller. They didn’t include the recycle bag in my last delivery either so it's obvious that there is a problem. Going to talk with the bank today.

We love blink

We love blink. My two cats look so healthy and aren’t too fussy on the recipes. The website makes it incredibly easy to swap out the only one they didn’t like to the ones they do like. When we first got one of our girls her coat was so dull and not soft, a couple of weeks on Blink and she’s super shiny and soft. I like how convenient the pouches are and that the food is shelf stable and doesn’t need defrosting, but the quality of food is just as good as brands that do need refrigerated. My one negative is that inside the box really doesn’t smell nice when you first open it and the pouches can sometimes be a bit dirty like there’s dust/dried food on them which must be from the warehouse. Decently priced too in comparison with other brands of a similar quality Overall my two girls are very happy customers!

I have been using blink cat food for my cat for over 2 years now and like many other loyal customers initially the service and products were superb and I would have given 6 stars if I could. But recently the product choices have been reduced due to supply issues and delivery and notifications are also not as reliable. I also haven’t received any recycling pouches which I thought was a brilliant idea and after enquiring about them I haven’t heard a thing from Blink as to whether they are still providing any or not. My cat loves this food but I’m seriously thinking of looking at a different brand with a more reliable supply and team that will respond to my questions. Please don’t let what used to be a fabulous little cat food supplier turn out to be an unreliable company. 🙏

Getting hold of blink when there is a…

Getting hold of blink when there is a problem with your order is virtually impossible!! £105 been taken for our monthly order that still hasn’t been dispatched. Website contact form says they are having technical issues (been showing that all week) phone number doesn’t work or when it does goes straight to voicemail. Slow response on fb messages as they seem to be the only way to contact them currently. All the while we still haven’t received our order that should have been sent Monday and still appears to not have been sent as we have no tracking details. Find ourselves once again having to buy extra food whilst we wait delivery. Not very good for monthly subscription service!! Needless to say will be cancelling our membership with blink and requesting a refund for this months order.
