Beal's Estate Agents is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and poor quality.
Natalia has been so helpful in finding a perfect home for my husband and I that ticks all our boxes. She is always quick to respond to any questions we have, and has been very approachable and kind. We are very thankful.
Simon helped us find our ideal flat. From start to finish he was friendly and 100% professional. He guided us through the paperwork and made the whole process stress free. We would highly recommend Simon and Beal's.

As usual great teamwork by Oliver, Hannah & Jay
Very professional , experienced and informative,
I only use Beals for letting my properties , am very pleased with their services.
Simon has been the agent helping me with finding the ideal property for me and my daughter for the past two weeks. He understood immediately what i like and made sure he showed me only places that would suit our needs. Once we secured a property, we faced some challenges with the process and he went above and beyond my expectations. I never imagined someone being so kind and helpful !!! If i was to find a property again, I would definitely ask for Simon again!!
I’m working in Southampton for a few years and needed an apartment whilst I’m down here. Aisha and the rest of the team at Beal’s were very professional and managed to get everything sorted in just a few weeks. One of the nice things was that any questions I had were answered quickly and I was kept in the loop every step of the way.
I had a great experience with Beal's Estate Agents.
Coming from another country trying to settle down with your family is quite going to be difficult getting an apartment but Beals made it so seamless. Thanks to Amber, Rebecca and her team of professionals who made it possible with ease. I would gladly recommend Beals anytime, anyday and anywhere to anyone.
Amber is the best!
Me and my partner have been looking for a home for a few months now as we are expecting our first child, Mohammad has been the best person we have ever spoke with, he helped us to get our home that we were looking for and has been the best when it comes to breaking down next steps etc. My partner and I would recommend Mohammad to anyone looking for property to let. 10/10 service, couldn’t be happier
I initially thought that relocating a long way from home and finding a flat was going to be a stressful and frustrating experience as I didn’t know the area very well. But thanks to Jess and Jade at Beals Estate agents, the process was anything but! They were absolutely excellent, friendly and professional when it came to understanding my situation and helping to find me a lovely little place to start out at. Can’t rate them highly enough, thank you!
Jessica and Jade in the Gosport office have been really helpful with a new rental. The process was done remotely and was tricky at times (no ones fault) but they answered all calls and emails promptly and with great customer service. Hoping the property management service is as stress free going forward.
I rented the same property from Beal's in Waterlooville for over 17 years and paid a total of £108,675 in rent. You would think this loyalty would have been appreciated but this company is dismissive and incompetent and their top representatives, Ben Temperton and Dan Frogley, are extremely rude and arrogant and they don't know the first thing about dealing with people.
Just as we were coming out of the first lockdown in 2020, I was contacted by Beal's whom said that they needed to arrange for an Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) to be conducted at the property, so it was arranged that Charles Crayden would attend to conduct the inspection. I learned afterwards that Charles Crayden is actually registered as a builder and joiner, but he is not registered as an electrician.
On the day of the inspection, Charles failed to attend himself but sent someone else in his place without prior notification. The person whom attended refused to give me his name and, despite many requests to Beal's, they also refused to give me his name. It would appear that Beal's can send a complete stranger into your home without warning and they have no obligation or conscience to tell you whom it is. This person failed to wear a face mask or gloves, despite it being government advice at that time. He also climbed on my furniture in order to reach the spotlights in my kitchen, as he had failed to bring his own steps. He left my wardrobe open, although he had no need to go in there in the first place. He used both my bathroom and kitchen sinks and left both filthy dirty and he had clearly helped himself to a drink and laid on my bed. This is really unsettling and creepy behaviour. But by far the worst issue for me was that he knocked over and damaged an antique, handcrafted guitar that was precious to me. The guitar was valued at approximately £1,000 but was also precious to me for sentimental reasons.
I contacted Maxine Faulkner at Beal's head office in Whiteley and her initial response was dismissive. There was no apology or understanding but the attitude that "we've never had any complaints about Charles Crayden before". I tried to explain that it wasn't even Charles that attended as he sent someone else in his place. This didn't seem to bother Beal's in the slightest. I was told that Beal's had contacted Charles but he refused to admit responsibility and both Charles Crayden and Beal's made me out to be a liar.
Beal's told me that I needed to send them photographs of the damage, which I did straight away. They also told me I needed to get estimates for the guitar's repair and get it valued before they would do anything, but the guitar had been handcrafted in France by a company that no longer exists, so it was extremely difficult to do this. After hours and hours of emails and expensive phonecalls, the conclusion was that my guitar was damaged beyond repair and a professional luthier would have charged me more than it was worth to repair it, so I ended up taking it to the tip, which absolutely broke my heart.
Disgusted by this, I then asked Maxine to refer this issue to a superior and I was contacted by Dan Frogley. He was initially rude and dismissive but eventually he conceded that I would receive £100 from Beal's and £50 from Charles Crayden in compensation, a total of £150. I argued that this was not even close to the value of the guitar and I was told that, if I wanted to take it any further, I would have to take Charles Crayden to court privately, which they knew I could not afford to do.
I eventually received my £150 compensation, 5 months later, but the guitar is gone forever.
Your property is not safe if you rent with Beal's. This awful company will tell you that you are one of their most valued tenants because you've been on their books for 17 years, but then they treat you with utter contempt.
Do not allow Beal's to send contractors into your home unless you are present and prepared to watch them like a hawk, even film them to safeguard yourself. Your property is not safe and Beal's could not care less.
I am still renting the same property but through a different agent as the new owners refuse to use Beal's based on their reputation. Do not be fooled by the fake reviews posted by Beal's own staff, family and friends.
Avoid Beal's at all costs!
Do not trust this company!
You have been warned!
I have been dealing with Mollie-Mae for quite some time now and find her to be very professional and compassionate in her role. I have had a number of issues concerning my property and she always provides a sensible course of action. Thanks Mollie
