We bought a property through Beals in Fareham and completed 12th August. There was no chain involved so the process was fairly quick and straightforward. We mainly dealt with Lily and Sarah who were always helpful and professional. A couple of times I called with a query and left a message for Lily, which she apparently didn't receive, so I had to chase up. Other than that, all was good but that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5

I will not bother making any further comment on my experience with Beals. I have deleted my previous post as it is clear that the company are too arrogant to address any concerns that I have. Yes, I can travel over to their Head Office to discuss my concerns with them provided that a date and time is convenient to them! Good Cusomer Service is now sadly a rare commodity in this country. Everything now is money orientated. Thankfully my contract with them expires this Friday 12th August 2022. I am a genuine customer and not related to any employee. The point is I would have accepted 240k if I had known that the auction price would be lowered to 230k, because everyone had seen what price it had originally been offered for on Rightmove. The price at auction is apparently reduced because the buyer pays the auction fees. I was told by the auctioneers that in view of the fact that I had reducrd the price, then the the reserve price would be 230k. I have no say in how the reserve price is set. Well I just follow the advice I am given, because I do not know how it all works. Maybe it is not an estate agents resposibility to advise me, I just do not know. Putting all this aside I would like to thank Hollie at the Havant Branch for doing her best to find a buyer for my property.
