Have an issue where goldcar have over charged me for a car hire booking in spain, booked through argus. I have it in black and white, the ammount I've been charged is more than the total on my final invoice. (That's ignoring the extra insurance that was added on without notice, but that's for another 1 star review). Argus customer care did not help with this and just took to ignoring me, super professional. Now apparently I have to contact goldcar directly, which I am really looking forward to.

We used Argus Car Hire to rent a car in Mallorca. The rental company - OK Mobility took an unauthorised payment of over £400 after the car had been returned for apparent damage to the carpet on the drivers side. There were no mats in the car and the area in question was obviously wear and tear and not caused in 5 days of rental. Argus Car Hire were extremely slow at responding to my complaint and after a month told me that ‘As we are an introductory service, we are unable to investigate damage charges with our car rental partners directly’. This is totally unacceptable since the booking was made entirely through them. They should take responsibility for their subcontractors and provide better support for their customers.
Excellent and fast service
Alles in Allem hatten wir sehr gute Erfahrungen mit dem Mietwagen gemacht. Die Übernahme hat zwar etwas gedauert (ca. 1h) aber sonst verlief alles reibungslos. Das Auto war außen dreckig, aber komplett neu u. innen sehr sauber. Die Rückgabe dauerte keine 15 Minuten.

The process of booking car hire and subsequently amending the booking was quick and easy. I use Argus on a regular basis and have always been extremely pleased with their level of service.

August 19th - still no response even after Argus responded on Trustpilot requesting me to send more details. July 29th - still no response after Argus responded on my Trustpilot review requesting me to send more details. I hired a multi seat vehicle via Argus, on pick up I was offered a larger van, no windows at the back which I did not feel comfortable driving. The vehicle also had several large cracks along the front window screen. The vehicle was not road worthy. It also had a broken taillight. No other car was available to me as a substitution. I had to leave the airport empty handed. I was offered a full refund, however this did not compensate me for the distress, inconvenience nor expenses incurred having to get a 3 hour train to my destination and picking up a new rental car the next day. I have sent several emails asking for compensation, I have been ignored several times and I await a response. Following this review, I received a response on Trustpilot on the 14th July requesting more details so they can follow up. I promptly sent these details including evidence of the damage to the vehicle in question. The frustration and disappointment continues

Don't try to contact anyone from this company if you're in the US. They are all overseas. Their site is misleading and incomplete. I tried renting from a company through them and when I got to the counter after landing, I was unable to get a car from them. The only way to contact the company was through an on site email. Even then I never got a response.

Book aldrig fra det firma de anvender OK Mobility, Jeg havde bestilt og betalt 2 biler en til mig og en til min svigersøn med mit kort, men OK ville ikke modtage depositum fra mit kort, det skulle være hans kort, jeg protesterede da jeg har forsikring på mit kort.... det betyder at vi skal betale over 400 euro ekstra det er jeg på ingen måde tilfreds med, vi ventede i en halv time på bilerne og blev betjent og behandlet af en grisk pengemaskine
Pagas el alquiler y cuando llegas a la ventanilla de la empresa de alquiler ( en este caso Surprice) te ponen muchos problemas y reparos porque lo que quieren desde la empresa de vehículos es que contrates con ellos directamente en ventanilla. Por ejemplo no aceptan tarjeta de crédito con abreviaturas pero si contratas con la empresa de alquiler directamente en ventanilla si aceptan. No aceptan tarjetas de crédito de entidades no bancos (en un enlace perdido de las condiciones de Surprice) pero en el contrato con Argus Car Hire no pone que no se pueda pagar con tarjetas de no bancos, pero sí se puede todo si contratas directamente con la compañía de vehículos en ventanilla. Se quedan con tu dinero por toda la cara y no te dan el servicio, por lo que o es estafa o incumplimiento de contrato. Demandaré y denunciaré. No contratéis con estos sinvergüenzas. Pagas por dos servicios por toda la cara. Te dicen por Whatsapp que contrates en ventanilla lo mismo, que no pasa nada (el seguro no se pudo premium porque valía mucho más y ya pagué a Argus y no disfruté) y luego dicen que no pagan nada por cualquier clausula que se sacan de la manga. Por no hablar de los daños y perjuicios de no tener ni seguro premium contratado con ellos. Mirad las reviews en otras webs y veréis como se comportan.
