Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Our first river cruise with APT
This was the first time we had done an all inclusive river cruise and were worried there would not be enough to do. This was not the case and every day there was something exciting to look forward to. Only small criticism was I was under the impression that the bikes would be EBikes which was not the case, and could have been of the same quality as the rest of the cruise.

My wife and I have just returned from a Travelmarvel 15-day 'European Gems' cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. We are well travelled and quite honestly this has been one of our best ever touring experiences. We have never cruised before, but we will certainly be back. Under the control of our cruise director Gunther and the entire ship's team, our first cruise experience was exemplary. The ship (Capella) was spotless, travelling was a joy, food was incredible and all local excursions handled efficiently. We do not normally offer 5* reviews as we feel companies may be tempted to increase their prices on the back of them. However, Travelmarvel deserves every one of the 5 stars from us, together with a huge thank you for a fantastic holiday!

Overall a great experience.
The ship was very well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were very very attentive and pleasant. The food was also very good (although a bit more variety at lunch would have been nice). Altogether a great experience and one we will repeat. An excellent trip. Some areas which might improve things even further: 1. Please accept euros for bookings! You have an offer for those on our cruise of 5% discount if we repeat booking. A good offer, but I can only pay with € card, and the banks will effectively take 5% on currency fees thus negating the offer. 2. While waiting to be picked up in Munich airport, our driver got caught up in very heavy traffic and was delayed. But he didn’t seem to have our phone number to let us know, and we were left having to call offices etc. if the driver had our number a lot of stress would have been avoided, both for us, and for the (very nice) driver. 3. On the first morning we were picked up at a hotel in Nuremberg. We had been advised to be in reception by 7.20 am, ready to board a coach. At 7.40 a representative arrived and told us that the coach would leave at 8.00pm. When we asked why we had to be up and about 40 minutes earlier the rep said “who told you that” . We responded APT and she said “I don’t work for APT, just for the coach company”. If APT must use her services I would suggest she be sent to charm school.

Well organised and relaxing cruise
Travelmarvel were very helpful throughout the booking process. The cruise was extremely well organised and relaxing for the traveller. The vega cruise ship was new and comfortable. The staff were efficient, friendly and professional. Our cruise director, Roland, was outstanding and worked tirelessly to make our trip as enjoyable and stressfree as possible. The food was of a high standard and catered for all tastes. The trips onshore were well arranged and interesting. The boat entertainment was good. Our only complaint was the final hotel stay in Nuremberg, the Meridian. It was tired, the plumbing was poor. It was impossible to regulate the water temperature of the shower and the en suite was very smelly. This aside the cruise was excellent and we will use APT again and have no hesitation in recommending the company to future travellers.

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money. A step down from the likes of Viking and Scenic in terms of food but staff were really good and the ship was immaculate and the half deck at the front to allow outside seating when going under bridges was a great idea.

Our first river cruise
Our first river cruise. The boat was fantastic, lovely cabin which was quite spacious. All of the staff were brilliant and the cleanliness from the cabin to all parts of the ship was brilliant. Food excellent, service great and no shortage of wine with meals. All included excursions interesting and well organised with a good selection of other excursions at a cost. We thought everything was good value and we will seriously consider another river cruise in the not too distant future.
