The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch…

The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch are a credit to the sector, from our initial talks with Kieran through to Mark and Remmi when completing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we was fully satisfied and always kept us updated. In this process we had dealt with several estate agents and by far Acorn Rainham were the best. If we were to need an estate agent again. Acorn Rainham would be our top choice and would highly recommend them. Well done Mark, Kieran and Remmi Thankyou so much Lee & Alice

I have dealt with multiple estate agents in the past, and I found the staff at Acorn Rainham branch exceptional. Mark and Kieran were professional as well as very friendly and easy to get on with. Fab viewing

We viewed a property with a young man called Kieran, all I can say is WOW. He was absolutely amazing, what a lovely young lad. Knew everything about the property, didn’t hesitate on any questions we had to ask, he was by far the best estate agent we viewed a property with and we viewed alot! Thanks so much again Kieran, you are a total gem to acorn estate agents.

I am grateful To Banji and Giovanna for their help with my search for a new home. Banji was pro-active in responding to my queries and inviting me to viewings which met my brief in a challenging market. Giovanna answered queries efficiently and without delay. Good estate agents

Acorn in Dulwich are a friendly and efficient group of estate agents who helped us rent our flat. Banji, who dealt with most of our application, was very friendly and helpful and was always on the phone if we needed any clarity with anything. I’d recommend him and his team if you’re looking to rent in the area.

Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid at all costs!! Acorn, or is it A Con, and especially Sales Manager William Cornwell at their Gravesend branch, should be avoided if you’re keen to sell your property. Although William has now transferred to Acorn Strood branch, he was meant to have handled our property sale and purchase of another property also sold via Acorn. Both fell through due to a multitude of issues badly handled by William and Acorn. This must have cost them in excess of £15,000 in sales fee earnings. Lies after lies and excuses that we caught him/them out on and just a lot of big words with no substance. Many mistakes were made and the communication was aside from full of fibs and bs, just plain awful. Unprofessional and amateurish from an allegedly experienced manager, but also shocking from an established agency like Acorn. After 5+ months on their books, in excess of 25 viewings and only 1 meaningful offer, our buyer pulled out and informed Acorn/William on a Thursday afternoon, no information was shared with us. We contacted our buyers directly a day later as we were ready to proceed and they told us they had withdrawn the day before. William doesn’t work Fridays so he replied to our email request for explanations on the Saturday with more fibs and excuses and said he’d get the property back on the market and crack on with finding us a new buyer. William also said he had an interested potential buyer already, but no viewing was booked in at all. Just another lie! The Thursday after, almost a week after he knew our buyers had withdrawn, our property was still showing on their sales platforms as SOLD STC despite we again on the Monday before had given instruction to reduce the price. Needless to say that we terminated our agreement with Acorn immediately and sent an email expressing our disappointment, but guess what? No reply of course. Cowardly sticking his/their head in the sand and simply just removing our property this morning. A formal complaint is being processed, but save yourself the agony and frustration by using a different and proper professional agency.
