Poor customer service experience at Chapel Ridge location in Fort Wayne

I normally visit the Chapel Ridge location in Fort Wayne a few times a month, but no more. My wife is sick and really needed some soup. When I called in for a small carry out order of some soup and rolls, all that I was told by the waitress and then the manager was would I be there by close (no exceptions). I said I am on my way but I might be a minute or two late. The manager was very Kurt and said I am sorry but I can't let anyone in or out. I was upset. Being in food service and other customer service roles, you sometimes have to flex to meet the customers needs. There was no flexing. I even told the manager that I will not be coming back to Bob Evans again and it didn't seem to phase her at all. All she said was, "have a good evening." Maybe they don't need my business, but I will make sure not take my family or any gatherings I am a part of to this Bob Evans again. I will drive out of my way to take my business to another food place that values customer service. If someone reads this from corporate or the store manager and remotely values client service still you can contact me with any questions.
