Clapham office: Offer ended up falling through. Property described as share of freehold, but it was never explained that this means there is actually a lease on the property (which was only 54 years). Advertised as having planning permission for a loft extension, but the agent would not provide information about when the permission expired, even when asked (we found out from our solicitor that it was only 6 months away which was not sufficient). The manager of the agent phoned to convince us to buy anyway, which we said we would not do without extensions of the lease and the planning permission. The manager hung up mid conversation which we felt was extremely rude.
