I found the conveyancing process a bit frustrating at times due to difficulty getting hold of my solicitor — emails and phone calls often went unanswered, even when I left messages, which could possibly be related to case overload. Communication could definitely have been better, especially for peace of mind during a stressful time. That said, when I did manage to speak to our solicitor, she was professional, proactive, and clearly knew what she was doing. She got the job done efficiently when it counted. There was a last-minute hitch with the TR1 form — despite them having it for a few weeks, and it suddenly had to be redone, which was very close to the completion date, which added unnecessary pressure. I would have appreciated more transparency and prompt handling of that. Overall, competent and effective when available, but the communication side could use improvement.
