Customer service 3 members of staff at Maltby be more like the can do lady !
I went to the post office in Maltby Rotherham this afternoon for a bag of 50p’s to use for Dunham bridge.There was a few people waiting, 4 members of staff , 1 counter open, I waited my time and asked politely for some change( didn’t say £5 of 50p’s ) I was told quite abruptly that no I haven’t any change so I said oh ok can I go to the other counter( as that one was now open, I was told yes but you will have to re join the line, I said seriously? . I joined the 5 deep Line for quite a time and had to let at least 3 more pass as there was now only the one counter I’d been to already open. Eventually I was told the 2 members of staff would be a while balancing the til and the other counter person was away from her til and they couldn’t go in it , I asked how long she might be as I needed some change, the lady said absolutely no idea . I gave in and went into Tesco to buy a few items, on my way out the other til was open so I joined the line and got to her til and asked please could I gave some 50ps? She had a look in hers then went to the safe and got me some , very pleasantly ! Seriously I spent almost 20 minutes in there🤣
