Blink Cat Food

It's not the same.
I used to be a very big advocate for Blink but it's all changed, unfortunately for the worst. It feels like they've been "bought over" by a bigger company and had some cut backs - in turn who obviously care less about the personal touch and consistency that Blink used to bring to it's customers, and we are starting to feel it. Recipes not being available - no communication to customers prior to order's going through. I placed an order of 56 pouches of Tuna Fillet. My order was accepted and payment taken. I received my delivery to find out Tuna was out of stock (notified by a cardboard print out which was in my delivery box) and each pouch was replaced with Tuna and Salmon. Granted when I emailed, they were quick to refund my payment and let me donate my box to a rescue centre but it still defeats the purpose. Are Blink just content with hoping that majority of customer's just accept what they didn't order, and then damage control the customer's who do get in touch? It feels like a terribly poor practice. Quality of the food - It's unbelievable how each and every pouch and flavour can differ in quality and texture. This started at the end of last year for a few of my orders but it then seemed to resolve itself. However, especially since the start of this year, each delivery the quality is completely different. We typically only order the Tuna Fillet but it's wet, sloppy, mushy and like a Pate. However, in two months, it'll be back to a solid food with perfect texture. My cats still eat it regardless, which is the only reason I'm still a customer but where has the consistency gone? I'm sure the answer shall be along the lines of how it's cooked, the supplier that's used etc etc. We used to receive high quality, nutritious, good looking cat food - now it feels like a lucky dip on what type of slop we'll receive this month. Personal Touch - This has completely disappeared. Where's the check in surveys that were sent randomly every few months? Where's the little gifts we used to receive? Why do all email responses feel like a scripted copy and paste? Why do all trust pilot review answers feel corporate? I genuinely feel bad for leaving this review but my concerns through email have fallen on deaf ears and it seems nobody is interested in helping me. I spend a substantial amount of money each month with Blink, and I'm losing hope in the products/business. This needs to change fast, otherwise I'm left with no alternative other than finding a new food for my cats.
