Dissapointed, Frustrated, Van Defective!!!!
LADY ON DESK! RUDE!!! Dissapointed, Frustrated, Van Defective!!!! Dissapointed! frustrated. I reserved a 15 seater van with them awhile back. after talking to customer service, went through the process and with confident, I booked the van for 11 days! he even said I can use my own insurance so I don't have to purchase insurance with them . On the day on my pick up, The RUDE lady on counter went through everything and I ended up paying additional 500 dollars!! she said 15 sitter van and commercial van is considered an RV and it's not covered under any insurance so she brought up a lot of stuff about what if something happens that makes you stressed out and worry , she said you have to get the insurance BECAUSE ITS THE LAW.... So I ended up getting it! don't have time to read five pages small letters agreement as I am in a hurry to pick up my family at the airport. I got so frustrated instead of paying around $500, I ended up paying $1100!!! that is not what I expected so I got caught off guard paying 1300 upfront the counter with $200 deposit I could not decline because I really needed to plan for my family.. So a day comes by and I have the van with me, I ended up driving it very limited because it's showing notification and alarming about traction need control to be serviced!! So during the duration of my rent I can only drive the van with a maximum of 40 to 50 mph because the traction notification on the vehicle keep alarming and popping, and I really did feel the van is not running right we were very concerned and my family member does not want to ride the van and felt very unsafe because of the weather conditions. THEY ARE CLOSE ON WEEKENDS! so we drove it very limited speed with worries.. there are days that I just used my own vehicles to drive around. I will try to call AVR and try compensate me for something they provided with a defective Van. ( I DID! USELESS WASTE OF TIME! ) . Over all my expectation from booking the van was ok BUT disappointing upon picking renting it out from the office spending another $500 which the RUDE lady in the desk gave me more worries if I did not purchase the insurance from them after that they gave me a defective van!!! So i Called customer service.. NO HELP!! and Direct Rental place!! WORSE!!! I WILL PASS THIS TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES TO NOT RENT HERE!! I'VE BEEN RENTING VEHICLES WITH NO PROBLEM.. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME RENTING A VEHICLE WITH THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE... AVR NO MORE!! P.S. I wanted to talk to the manager always says she is busy!!! called a day before say they will call me!! never did!! dont want to let me talk the manager!!! trying to solve her own!! MAYBE MANAGER WILL SIDE TO HER ANYWAY!!! WORSE EXPERIENCE RENTAL IN MY LIFE!!!! DO NOT BOOK AVR!!!!!!!
