Really disappointing delivery service

While I appreciated that the delivery driver informed my husband of an estimated arrival time, the actual delivery experience was very disappointing. I had placed a large, clearly visible note on our front door addressed to the driver, requesting that they call me upon arrival (with my phone number provided). This was to ensure I could give clear instructions on where to offload the decking safely. Unfortunately, this request was completely ignored. Instead, the driver offloaded all the decking at the very front of our large driveway, fully exposed to the main road into Brighton. They left without making any contact with me, and there was no opportunity to check the goods or confirm delivery details. As a result, I had to stop my work and manually move all the decking to a safer location to prevent potential theft. This took over 40 minutes as I was alone and the boards are 4 meters long and quite heavy—I could only manage one at a time. This is not the level of service I expected, especially for a delivery of this size and value. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and ensure that future deliveries are handled with greater care and communication.
