Disgraceful change of product. Cat hates it!!
Unbelievable. If only I had read the most recent reviews of Blink before I tried to politely contact them to get their patronising unhelpful response. By the way, how do they still have such a high star rating on Trustpilot, and first reviews you see are so positive, when they have now had a deluge of negative reviews?? Strange. Anyway. I thank all those who have reviewed this company so recently. You confirmed my worse suspicions. So I say to anyone out there to read them, and this: 1. Having used Blink for several years and they were great we now find that the ‘new’ recipes are no longer made in UK but Thailand. Clearly GB animal welfare is better and more trustworthy. That is why we chose it in the first place. They didn’t tell us that the company had been sold and the money makers who bought it transferred production to abroad, where produce and production is cheaper. They have patronised people by saying they did send emails and they must have gone in spam boxes. PLEASE!! 2. The first pouch of the new stuff, my cat left, despite usually being very keen for it. Thank goodness I have read the reviews and realise that I will have a very hungry cat. Some people have had their cats being ill. The responses from the customer services yet again are childish and patronising. 3. No longer says 100% Natural Ingredients- so what can one conclude from that? Despite the top dollar price being the same. 4. No longer any nutritional information on the packet. I wonder why? 5. It use to say real meat fillets, it now says ‘real meat and fish’. What as opposed to fake meat and fish?They use to make a virtue of the fact they responsibly sourced their meat and only added the best bits to their produce. This no longer is on the packet. Draw your own conclusion. Heaven only knows the quality of the meat going in. How would they be able to check when it’s produced so far away. 6. We were sent completely wrong selection of pouches and no chicken. Although, now I’m quite pleased as our cat would have just left it. No explanation, no apology and my polite email to them was responded to by more or less them saying it was my fault for not reading an email I didn’t receive. 7. So, as they clearly are no longer anywhere near the company or the product they used to be, we will, like so many others it seems, be cancelling our subscription. I genuinely think that the lengths they went to in attempt to hide all this from loyal customers is disgraceful. I would have given them no stars but apparently I can’t.
