I've lost all trust in Blink

I have been a subscriber of Blink for just under a year, to begin with everything was excellent - the quality/choice of the recipes, the dispatch/delivery time and the correct recipes arriving. Sadly, over time things have gone downhill, from recipes changing, getting discontinued or temporarily unavailable, to getting sent the wrong recipes. A couple of months ago I was sent 22-ish pouches of turkey in jelly kitten food (my subscription is entirely adult food) then in the subscription for July x4 pouches of chicken in jelly kitten food were included with the pouches of the chicken in jelly adult cat food. Previously, when your payment method was charged, your order was dispatched that same day. However, now it seems that your payment method is charged and the box ships the day after. My previous subscription wasn't shipped for almost a week after it should have done (which has more detail in a previous review) I chose Blink because they included 100% human grade meat in all of their recipes, broth and added vitamins/minerals - simple, clear and high quality nutrition for cats in comparison to many other retail brands. Although the cost was high (£105 for 112 pouches) it was worth it for the health of my 2 cats. Now, they only include 65% human grade meat and they have added in tapioca as a filler. After doing research it appears that tapioca is not toxic to cats and can be a safe ingredient in low amounts. However, it does not appear to have any nutritional benefit for cats. Therefore, I cannot fathom why this has been added in, along with reducing the meat content. I've also noticed that the new and 'improved' packaging no longer states that the product is made in Britain, it no longer includes the ingredients list on the back (you have to search for it on the Blink website) and the statement 'Grain Free' now has an asterisk next to it, which informs you that the product is made in a factory that handles grains, so if your cat cannot have grains at all, there is a risk of cross contamination. The packaging is no longer recyclable as stated on the pouch. After reading a previous review from another subscriber Blink have emailed them in response to an enquiry they made "and happily state that instead of being made in the UK with UK meat Blink cat food is now produced solely in Thailand." All of these changes which seemingly appear to only be a financial gain/cost saving benefit for Blink with absolutely NO CONSIDERATION for the cats on the receiving end of the food they are producing and supplying. Interesting how there has been no change to the monthly subscription cost - £105 every 4 weeks for lower quality meat, anxiety around when your order will ship and what you'll receive, along with no longer being a UK produced product?? No thank you! Safe to say, as of today my subscription is cancelled and I am switching to a different cat food manufacturer. I will never use Blink again, nor do I recommend them.
