******************************** AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE *************************************** Utterly incompetent at every level. Impossible to contact whether your'e a client, other conveyancer or agent. Provided exchange and completion dates that expired over a month ago. They had the entire chain, packed, boxed and ready to go, waiting for updates that never came. Failed to respond to emails and calls on a daily basis and repeatedly lied and misguided the chain re exchange and completion timescales. We were provided with a completion date of 17.11.23 and eventually moved on 18.12.23. The trainee conveyancing case handler Jennifer Hogg and her colleague Martin Howard are completely out of their depth! Jennifer Hogg went sick (on the day of one of her several promised exchange dates) having lied repeatedly and pushed back the exchange date countless times. M. Howard took over the file for a day, then went on holiday and didn’t tell anyone of the urgent issues or pass the file on. Everyone in the chain is out of pocket for thousands of pounds and we have ended up with a simultaneous exchange and completion date, on same day. An absolute logistical nightmare, especially when a couple in the chain were moving from Kent to the north east. The aforementioned (in particular Jennifer Louise Elizabeth Hogg) are an utter disgrace to the profession, as are PLS for lack of supervision, progression and file management. Thankfully on the day of simultaneous exchange and completion, a manager named Adam Haygarth stepped in and the chain was somehow kept intact and moves made AT THE LAST MINUTE!!! Thanks go to him and him alone !
