Poor Service and Lack of Customer Service

The issue that I have experienced was: Firstly we ordered Seasonal vegetables as a side dish and asked what vegetables it came with. The waitress said we only have broccoli. My wife said to her what for for £5.25 and she replied oh sorry we only have broccoli. Me, ‘are you seriously telling me the only vegetable you have on offer is broccoli’ waitress ‘yes’ if you ordered the broccoli incidentally you only received a maximum of 5 florets. Not the best start. There was then a 39 minute delay between finishing our starter and receiving our main course and no apologies given. Main course finally arriving not offered any condiments had to get up and go find them, the condiments that is. I ordered a blue steak and it came up medium rare. Waitress spilling more water over the table than there is in my bath. Waitress and barman arguing in open forum in a different language. Despite delay between starter and main course it took them about 1.5 minutes to get me the bill. Waiter asked me when paying if everything was ok and despite me explaining NO and what I felt was wrong he offered nothing in terms of compensation. He just said thank you sir it’s always good to get feedback. It occurred on: 29/03/2019 This meant that What should have been a been a nice meal, we were given vouchers as a Christmas present) left a bad taste in the mouth. I have since taken this up with the restaurant direct and all they have said is, ‘I should have sent the steak back’ (having waited 39 minutes for it to arrive I didn’t have the time to wait any longer). Oh and if we’d like to visit again we can have a complimentary glass of bubbly. No Thanks. One to avoid.
