Umi Tea Sets make my tea moments more enjoyable
I bought few items Umi Tea Sets were offering few months ago and got it really on time that was announced. In my order were Purple Clay Round Tea Cup With Infuser, Chinese Calligraphy Purple Clay Tea Cup, Yixing Purple Clay Dragon Tea Cup With Infuser and my new tea pets - a Set Of Two Color Changeable Swan Tea Pet. Since that moment they became the irreplaceable everyday items in my tea moments. I’m using it for brewing Pu-erh teas of different kinds. Beautifully shaped teacups are the indispensable items for a tea collection specialy in brewing teas like Oolong or Pu-erh. The qualities and the taste of tea is improving daily and in my belief this is directly linked to the purple clay (ZiSha), found only in the Yixing, Jiangsu province of China, from which those teacups are crafted. It os obvious that the highly skilled craftspeople create it. It fits in a hand perfectly allowing a person who is brewing the tea a great pleasure in enjoying the looks of a teacup as well as the exquisite tast of the tea brewed in the Yixing Purple Clay. The teacups are excellently crafted and furthermore one can’t be burned while using them - the handle is so well placed and the lid fits perfectly. And we have to know the Yixing tea pot or tea cup is considered as the best possible way to steep tea specially Pu-erh teas or Oolong teas. As the time goes by, by using my Yixing Purple Clay tea cups my tea brewed in them creates a very special aroma and the same tea as before it now tastes much much better. It os because Yixing Purple Clay has a unique adsorption-It is continuing to absorb tea aroma when tea cup is used, and after a long time, it creates the unique aroma. Therefore, the tea cup only can make the same type of tea to avoid flavor mixing, which affects its taste. Second: The more nourished, the more spiritual: For many appliances, the more you use, the older they are, but the more you use, the Yixing Purple Clay Tea cups the better it is. The tea cups’ body becomes more and more shiny, smooth, beautiful and mild after frequent cleaning it by warm water. I’m using them for Pu-erh and Oolong as I say before so for hot and warm but as far as I know they also can be used with cold water. Therefore Yixing Purple Clay tea cups are proved to resists hot and cold temperature: its sandy and it transfers heat slow, so it has a good stability of hot and cold, and as far as I know even if burned directly on the stove, it will not be split.
