I had nano fill composite bonding
I had nano fill composite bonding. I live in Leeds but had my consultation in the Wakefield branch due to the leeds clinic being fully booked. During my consultation I made it clear I needed my other two appointments in leeds and was told that was fine. I made payment and then two appointments were booked in. One for my whitening and one for the bonding. What I didn’t appreciate about the service was, during the periods of time whilst I waited for my appointments I kept being called and asked if i could attend the Guiseley clinic. I repeatedly said no as the Leeds clinic is 5 minutes away from my home, it made me feel as though trying to get me a leeds appointment was a burden. Eventually when I attended my whitening appointment, Dr Ben sat me down in the dentist chair and assumed I was getting my bonding done. I had to explain to him this is a whitening appointment, I found the miscommunication a bit unprofessional. I was then instead given my teeth whitening kit and shown how to use it. Teeth whitening takes a few weeks to do and during this time period again I was asked if I could I attend the Guiseley clinic and I again I said no. This would then to my disappointment push my bonding appointment back further due to YDS telling me the dentist wasn’t coming to Leeds that day anymore. Eventually my bonding date was one day away and I got a call again asking if I could go to the Guiseley clinic as my dentist will not be coming to the leeds clinic tomorrow as planned. Bearing in mind I had made it clear several times in my consultation (which I had recorded) that I needed it to be in leeds. YDS then told me that they will reimburse my taxi fare if I go to Guiseley. At this point i was excited and i just wanted the treatment done and so I accepted. The next morning I got my taxi to Guiseley had the bonding procedure done by Dr Ben. The procedure went well and Dr Ben was brilliant. I was told by Tess at reception to email my taxi receipt’s and that I would be reimbursed. I then was given some flowers and got my taxi home. All the staff I dealt with were lovely. Four weeks later and various emails & texts I have my reimbursement. I just feel for the amount of money I have spent at YDS I expected a more smooth and less irritating experience.
