UPDATE 4/14/2023 - Bob Evans finally responded, I gave them my order number, etc. They apologized and refunded our money in full. They also forwarded my email to the Director of Operations in charge of that store for my area. I'm satisfied at the outcome, upped my one star to three, and hope they get that delivery problem resolved. **** **** **** Hamilton, Ohio: Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023 I ordered three turkey dinners, around 1pm. I got the confirmation, order number, and time the of delivery was to be at 4:30. We didn't have food by 6:00 so I called the restaurant. The guy who answered the phone was nice, tried to help. He looked up the order and said quote: "I see it right here, it's in the system but they never made it." So I asked him if it could be cancelled? He said "Yes, let me put my manager on the phone." (- I want to add that at no time did I go full Karen, cuss, etc. I realized it was a holiday, and stuff happens. Just want to make that clear. -) So the manager gets on the phone, I tell her the problem: ordered at 1, it's over an hour late, guy says it's in system but never made. She says that it's delivery by Door Dash, which took me off guard because I ordered from the website and it doesn't mention Door Dash at all when you check delivery. We figured the store has their own I guess. So manager says it's not their problem it's Door Dash. I reminded her that her employee said that the order is in the system, but never made. She says quickly "Oh I see it, that order was picked up by Door Dash already".. Really? Ma'am? So then she tells me that it's not their prob, I'd have to contact Door Dash. Door Dash support is very good, they called the restaurant and were told the FOOD IS AT THE STORE. I let DD agent know what I was told. And he decided I'm getting the run-around, so he put in a request for a refund for us. We got an email this morning from Door Dash, that said they were unsuccessful in getting anyone from Bob Evans to return their requests. At this point, we've lost that money -- and had no Easter dinner either. It just stung a little to be ignored by a company worth at least $1.07 billion, that puts out country goodness and sunshine on their menus and commercials. They've lost one customer, that's for sure. * P.S. I want to add that they've not addressed my email, or Door Dash. Unprofessional, not acceptable. * Updated: My date of experience keeps changing when I submit this review lol .. it was 04/09, Easter Sunday.
