I dont usually leave the reviews
I dont usually leave the reviews. But…. Overall service and costumer service is very good. They respond very quick to your concern and even the results are very fast. It is upto a person if they believe, how the things are tested and how accurate this is. In my personal opinion, this is a NO NO for food intolerances. The company claims they test for food intolerances/sensitivities. Firstly, there is not evidence on these test have any ground to stand on. And second their results are completely wrong. Food intolerances/sensitivities are measured in IgG (antibodies that your body creates when you consume something you are sensitive to). When questioned on this topic, I got responded of them, that they do not test allergies. I have never mentioned allergies. I’m aware of the differences and also that they do not test for allergies (IgE) or sensitivities (IgG). So, my question is what do you test on then? As you can not measure such a thing any other way. Luckily, I have had my IgG test done by blood tests and I do know what my intolerances are. I wanted to know a biggest list of stuff to be maybe aware of , so I did the Ultimate family test kit to get all my dearest tested. Wrong, not even that they cleared me off for stuff that I have very high levels and react very badly to them, for to very safe to eat. As soon as I saw eggs are green on my list I knew their results are probably randomly genereted or something. Then my next question was, and this was for my 10y old boy. Apparently, he is lactose and casein sensitive/intolerant. But then he is absolutely fine (green) to consume everything that includes lactose and casein🙂 (cheese, milk from cow/sheep/goat) as if those products doesn’t contain no lactose or casein. How does that work then? Unless, there is some magical dairy products that I’m not aware off that doesn’t contain casein or lactose. Also, 10y old apperently has bile salts out of balance. And they adviced to him is to lower the stress and eat less fat and no alcohol. Hmmm, interesting. Next my partner, they claimed that he is intolerant to milk fat, but very green to consume milk from cow/sheep/goat. Unless there is a milk that doesn’t contain any of the animal fat (magical). My mother, is intolerant to stinging nettle 😎 well you got to be a super human to get no reaction from stinging nettle. Also, she has biggest reaction to almonds and they cleared her up for it aswel. Lastly for my dad, he is also intolerant apparently to a lactose and casein but is all good to consume all the dairy products that includes those. Take from it what you want, and I’m not going to say this company doesnt work for people. But in my case, the inconsistency and randomly generated stuff when you think of them, do not make sense. They respond with usual stuff that they do not test for allergy. I never even mentioned allergy. But feels like that is the ultimate defence. And when you make a little bit more sense and ask then to explain how do they test those things and get such a results, no response. I would at least appreciate that. Ultimate defence is “WE DONT TEST FOR ALLERGIES”. Regardless of their defence words I’m sure people do know what the differences are, and still cant test even for intolerances/sensitivities as they get those wrong too. Unfortunately, you cant get results from hair for your microbiome neither for the food intolerances. If it was that easy I’m sure we all would be good and healthy as we would know which probiotic to take and what to avoid. You can get your intolerances tested thru NHS but even that is struggle. My advice is, dont get tested as those are very wrong results and if you are reactiong to something badly then go to your doctor. As most likely those will be wrong and will cause you to worse your symptoms. And especially when you suffer from skin irritation bloating and very bad constipation ( as I do when I eat eggs) 😎.
