Sick little girl in Thailand

We've always taken holiday insurance but luckily never had to use it previously. Having just returned from a 2 week stay in Phuket & Koh Samui - I think you'd be crazy not to cover yourself. Our kids picked up a nasty gastro bug a few days into the trip, with our 5 year old daughter needing to spend 24 hours on a drop in hospital. This could of easily ruined the holiday as bill was almost $1,200, but 2 days later everyone was recovered & we spent the $1,000 spoiling the kids knowing we were only out of pocket the premium
