Unfit for purpose
Our decking was installed last year, March 2023 by a professional company. A large area 8M X 4M +-. Initially it looked great but after a few months down the line most of the right angle edging trims cracked down the lengths and then slowly disintegrated. I complained to the company and new trims were sent out to me. Since then the main boards are warping/distorting, both down the lengths and across the widths ,so badly the whole area is becoming a trip hazard as well as pooling rain water. The boards have been secured using the supplied clips from Dino decking. Basically the product is not fit for purpose both in stability and construction. Having spent the best part of £2000 in just buying the product, never mind having to pay the installer, I will be ripping the whole lot up and installing wooden decking in the near future. It's a total disgrace that a so called maintenance free product with a 10 year guarantee should have to be replaced after one and a half years.
