I booked my recent Bali trip through TID as I always book with you and have made claims in the past that were dealt with very well by the company. My partner also booked through you and on booking there was nothing on the website to say the policy had to be taken before 2nd July in order to have cover due to the volcanic eruption. I read the entire policy and understood that it was only foreseen disaster that wouldn't be covered. Well the ash cloud had cleared, so how can we foresee it would erupt again? If the notice (now displaying on the website) had been there to say policy had to be taken prior to July 2 we would have gone with another company. As it appeared fine we went with you. Now my partner is stuck in Bali and has had to fork out close to $500 to get a flight on another airline in order to make it home for work. As well as being out of pocket for hotel, transport and food. None of which you will cover. Other companies are covering as long as taken out before the start of August. Very disappointed in the lack of clear communication.
