Travel Insurance?

I renew my travel insurance every year and, until the recent Heathrow incident, I had never needed to make a claim. Unfortunately, I discovered that the Post Office works directly with a third-party insurer, which proved extremely difficult to deal with when I tried to file my claim. The Post Office even routes calls through its own website directly to this third party, absolving itself of any responsibility once your policy has been purchased—whether in a local branch or online. As a result, you cannot even lodge a complaint with the Post Office about your unsatisfactory experience with their chosen partner. Frankly, it’s astonishing that this is the standard of service in what is meant to be a developed country.
