I’ll go local next time
I rang before ordering to ask about delivery dates and was to told to email with order number after orders has been placed to arrange. I did. I was contacted anyway to ask about a delivery date, with a date I couldn’t do. I asked to change it to a different date. I was told this wasn’t an option so I suggested another date. No more replies until the unwanted date for delivery arrived and 10 bags 825kg bags of sub base arrived. I ordered 10 x 850kg. A significant difference over 10 bags. I received an email saying ‘still trying to organise the delivery’ or words to that effect. I reply ‘too late it’s arrived’. The next reply blamed the third party company for messing up the delivery date and then managed to get the rest of my order delivered on the day I originally asked for. In summary Got less than I ordered Delivered half on the one day I asked to not deliver on Then managed to deliver half on the day that I was originally told they couldn’t. Next time I’ll just go with your quote to travis Perkins as the items quality was fine and delivery guy was lovely In response to the reply: I get the bags are an approximation but travis Perkins weighed the bags delivered at 825kg and advertised 800kg, thus it’s going to be on the lower end of your scale, which whilst it is 800-900kg its also 800-825kg. Which is significant and thus customers need to know it’s an exaggeration on your part.
