Wanted me to pay a courier cost…
Item not available unless I pay an extra courier cost, after already paying a delivery fee of £35? Their name literally says they’re nationwide, so why is it my problem if they have to pay a courier to secure the stock they are selling? A week after ordering some insulation I got an email saying no stock anywhere unless they got a courier and did I want to pay for that? After paying £35 for delivery I cannot comprehend telling a customer they would have to pay more. I replied to say just give me the refund but I thought this was pretty poor, and have had no response. Only reason not to give 1* is because prior to ordering I did speak to someone helpful in their sales team. Update - their response just doubles down on what they think is reasonable. Them doing everything possible to deliver the goods they are selling and which I’ve already paid a delivery fee for - but that is just me paying extra for a courier, so it’s not them doing anything. They seem to have missed the point as to why this was such bad service.
