Poor advice
I always get my running gear here, but am really disappointed with the latest advice. I used the Hoka Clifton series for a couple of years already, but was disappointed with the last model, which showed significant wear of the soles at 850 km (I used previous models up to 1100-1200 km) and therefore wanted to look at another brand. The sales person advised the On Cloudmonster for its durability. What a mistake that was! Already at 500 km a squeaking noise started (water in the sole?) and now, at 720 km, the sole is already fully worn. I use them approximately 30% offroad and 70% on asphalt. Really disappointing advice! Thanks for your answer, it all makes sense. I just wish they gave me the same advice in the shop instead of telling me that On was very durable.
